Not really sure people would use this for a pool, but as a big sink utility brush it is okay. First of all the clearance between the handle and the top of the brush is good enough but if you have really big hands or thick cloves, it may be a tight fit. There are many bristles on the bottom, but the bunches are spaced a little further than I am used to. It doesn't seem to affect the cleaning that much, but still it looks a little spaced out down there. I thought maybe this being a pool brush that it might stand up better to chlorine or bleach, but I think it is just regular bristles, nothing special. And maybe that is the final judgement of this brush, pretty standard and nothing special. It works and will work for you, but don't expect something great.
