Works good for camping but would not recommend for any other use. Very thin material and warps easily.

I normally use a wok in the kitchen to do most of my cooking, but sometimes, I just don’t like the depth of the pan. Along comes this Korean BBQ Grill pan….I couldn’t wait to try it out, so I decided to do something super easy and decided to make a few burgers with bacon and onions. The pan has a flat bottom that sits perfectly on my gas stove, but it is made to sit on electrics, also. The pan is lightweight aluminum and it seems to disperse the heat much like my old anodized aluminum pots did.The pan is slightly concave in the middle which is what I like most about this. It’s almost flat but it’s not. This way the pan will keep all those delicious juices right in the middle of the pan where I need them, to add flavors to my meals.I used medium to low heat and my burgers were done in no time. Super tasty and juicy. No, it won’t char your burgers or give you grill marks but it works a bit like a griddle except for the shallow well in the middle.I could see doing stir frys, morning breakfast… eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc. You could use this for anything that you would use a griddle for.This pan has a non stick surface that is easy to clean after use. To be safe, I am using non scratch utensils on it as it is not a cast iron pan like my wok.This pan is so useful that this one stays right on my cooktop all the time, ready for use.

We use this grill pan with an induction cook top that we can bring right to the table. You can't really tell from the product picture, but it has a flat base that angles very slightly upward, so the base makes total contact and heats up the aides as well. It doesn't completely mimic Korean bbq grills, but it comes close enough considering that I don't have ti deal with charcoal. We still get some smoke, but that's from the marinade on the meats, not from the flame source. I haven't tried it yet, but my next plan is to use this to make crispy rice which is a treat any time but especially bringa back childhood memories.
