I have traveled with this tea set and liked using it. It is cute and functional. The problem though is that is weighs heavier than one would expect and looses functionality because of that. When traveling carry on only, I prefer too take lighter alternatives.

This is an absolutely gorgeous tea set. It is cute and compact for traveling. It makes a great gift. My spouse absolutely loves all things related to Japanese tradition and tea is really big. We have been trying different kinds and love the tea ceremonies we watch. This is something that we are looking forward to using at the house to make tea in the morning and be able to store away out of reach from the children.

This is a very cool little tea set that nests compactly and is easy to carry around. The included cloth wraps the individual components in a way that can prevent breakage and chipping while its being carried. The cups pre-heat easily and can get very warm to the touch. Due to the small size use very little tea since there's very little water. Overall, I think this is a great set at a great price.

Looking forward to the slow post-holiday winter days where I can enjoy this set more fully. I love the filter lid (you will get tiny bits through this one, but I don’t mind that at all, I just appreciate not needing a separate strainer), the wooden handles, and the options to share a small cup with a friend or have a larger solo session. The color is perfect and I appreciate the portability. Everything arrived in great condition- no breakage. I'm very pleased with the quality for the price point, just right for a starter set.

For a “Portable” tea set, it should been made better. Not sure what happened in shipping but the carrying case is cracked, although the glass inside isn’t.
