Nice metal design and the lights looked cool, but this lacked the ooomph that I really needed to keep my laptop cool. If youre struggling to keep your laptop under 98c, you may have to do like I did and buy a couple of adjustable server fans to prop under your laptop. You may have to cut a huge vent out from the bottom case too. Actually dont do like I did.

Fake description, fake pictures, broken cooler. Total garbage (details below).One of 6 coolers was dead from the box (see pic), another one makes strange noise, I dont believe it's gonna live too long.Dimensions (which were crucial for me!!) are not the ones mentioned in description. Where it need to be bigger, it's smaller, and the total height is bigger then it said, so I had to remove rubber pads from it to fit where I need it.Picture with green coolers from description is completely fake, collers are veeery small and airfow they make not orth even $5.Overal, this garbage can't be over $10, but they sell it for 42+.

I've had this for three months and already, the USB ports have pretty much died on me. There is no reason for anything to go wrong with the ports. I have never banged the unit into anything and I always pull/push STRAIGHT in/out when plugging the cooling pad in and unplugging it. The money I spent on this would have been put to better use as toilet paper. At least that way, it would've gotten a job done removing "s**t" as opposed to adding.

This cooling pad is flimsy. I've had it for a year, within 6 months I couldn't use the little flap that covered the chamber that the USB cord sat in (the little nubs broke off). Just found over the weekend the pad itself does't work at all any more, doesn't turn on. To be fair, this pad goes with me everywhere so I can work at homework on lunch breaks, so it's in my laptop bag at all times. So, it's put up with a lot of travel. I'll be replacing it, but not with another of these.

I'm editing my original review because I thought it was too harsh. Now I still say this is not the most powerful cooler but it does cool your laptop very well. I loved how quiet it is thats a true plus. It was simple to put together but the fans could be a little stronger in power.

I bought one of these from another vendor. It worked well for a few weeks then got noisy. Over time it continued to get worse.This one is working great. Can't hear it at all. I have used it for about three weeks so far. I will update this review if I see any changes. At this point though. I definitely recommend this model.***Update 04/23/21*** I use this fan everyday with my 17" HP. I has been excellent for over 2 years. recently it has started to make noise when it starts up. for a while I were able to bump it and it would stop for several days. Now finally it is getting louder and is harder to stop. I still recommend it but wish it would last longer since it basically has no load on it.

Why do they always make the base plastic? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE COOLERS. this is my third one in a year why because if you set these at an angle and pick it up they break, yeah we are looking at maybe an extra 8 to 12 ounces for a solid metal stand but it would break it might bend but it would break.The top is perfect and it does cool could you just make a SOLID METAL ONE I WOULD PAY MORE!The cooling is top notch it does a great job cooling it is just not sturdy

My laptop cooling pad arrived sooner than expected. What I love the most is this unit sleek design which allows me to place into my backpack very easily. The unit provides for multiple height levels which is great depending on where I SET up the actual height of the tables that I frequent various so I am all ready to when I finally set up to have the right height for my laptop. The only recommendation is the little rubber pads at the bottom you re-enforce them with some super glue to ensure that they remain on the unit. I found within the first week one of them had fallen off. All and all I love the unit and the cool green light at the bottom is sweet touch.
