This is an acceptable small hardsidede case with a mesh covered side and with soft synthetic suede lining. It is crush resistant and does not have the awful smell that some hard cases can. It is of good quality including the zippers. The difficulty is that nowhere in the description did they include the interior dimensions (the usable interior size.) The usable interior dimensions are 11 1/4 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide by 4 inches high. All of the dimensions I found including from other reviews were the exterior dimensions which are not particularly helpful. I wanted to put s portable scanner in it, but the length dimension is short of what I need, so it will have to find another use, which is unfortunate because it is a nice case.

The dimensions of this case in the description said 12.2 x 10.43 x 2.24 inches. What I received was 12" x 4" x 4". I have no idea what I could possibly use this for, maybe a carrying case for my telescope accessories but it sure will not fit my mobile printer. One side of this case has a mesh cover so you can store things without having to worry about losing them. Power cords and batteries come to mind along with other small things. The open side has a strap that could go under a long thin object so you can pull it out easily, but there is nothing to keep that object from moving around. The construction is sound and zippers are high quality zippers. This is a semi-hard shell case and would offer good protection.I really was looking for a case for my Canon mobile printer. I guess I will keep looking.
