Horrible experience! Just received and thought I'd try it out on making burgers on a cast iron grill. It made things worse! It not only had blown smoke throughout the entire 1st floor, but it splattered the grease on the floor, countertops, appliances and table tops! An hour just to scrub everything down! Terrible product and very bad purchase!

This is a well constructed and easy to clean appliance. It is large but visually attractive. The fan in this unit is very powerful. Does it really do what it's intended to do? It will pull a lot of smoke through its filter and remove some of the odors. It does not seem very effective removing grease particles. On the high setting it is exceedingly loud. Too loud for comfort in a living area.

The Portable Range Hood 2 will significantly improve our camping & covered patio grilling experience. The suction power is impressive - better than expected from a portable unit. When I'm grilling or cooking with high heat, the turbo mode handles the smoke effectively.I appreciate the dual filtration system - you can see the grease it captures, and cooking odors don't linger in my home anymore. The touch controls are responsive and intuitive, and the LED panel gives it a sleek, modern look. The noise level is reasonable - you can still hold a conversation while it's running, even on higher settings.My major complaint is that the battery is sold separately at this pricepoint one should be included IMO, and it does take up some space when not in use.That said, it's surprisingly sturdy and the heat resistance means we don't worry about damaging it even when cooking at high temperatures. Definitely worth considering if you're dealing with limited ventilation.

I bought this portable range hood because I do a fair bit of cooking inside, sometimes with a portable burner. I wanted something to help with the smoke and smells. This little thing is pretty neat.The design is simple and modern. It’s black, which goes with everything. It feels well-built, not cheap. It's easy to move around, it is not heavy. You can use it with a cord, or you can buy a battery for it and go cordless, which will be my next purchase.The controls are easy to use. The touch panel works well, it's very responsive. It sucks up smoke pretty well for its size. It also has settings to change the airflow.I also like that it's easy to clean. I just wipe it down. One star off because I wish it had come with the battery. Overall a good buy!
