I have a 9" / 6"x48" combo sander and bought these discs to replace worn out one. Unfortunately I did not do a good job cleaning off the sander disc before trying the first of these new sanding discs. It would not stick all around. So, I pulled it back off and cleaned the sander disc really well. And unfortunately the original sticky glue they used just would stick once I had already tried it. So, had to go to a 2nd new paper disc. It did finally stick but not still not very well. It has stayed on, but just a light pull will take it off. On my larger 12" disc sander, the discs are much stickier and can actually be put back on after removal. These I think you would have to get some additional spray glue or somehting like that to re-use. Not sure if bad batch, or they are all this way. They are the lowest cost ones on the site. So, that may be a clue. They do work and sand well. I use sander eraser to prolong life.

This item and the belts for my sander were to ship same. Same seller. The belts were on time, the disc's were nearly a week late. This delayed our project. Disc's nice and tacky. Belts are smooth and both cut nicely.

Would buy again, adhesion was excellent after cleaning disc plate with acetone and first disc is holding up well after multiple uses

I ordered these discs assuming that they would have an adhesive backing to peel and stick onto to my grinding wheel. ****NOTHING~~~I needed to finish some parts so I used some double backed tape to hold them onto the disc == which worked well

Best I could find that is close to what I wanted. I needed a few 9” adhesive 120 grit disks but had to settle for THIRTY assorted disks, 25 of which I will never use. Unlike belts, it is not practical to change disks, so everyone finds the grit they can live with and uses it until they replace that one with one just like it. The assortment is like a 500% tax on what you need.
