Perfect in almost every way. If you have wuss hands like I do this flint is gonna be hard on your skin. The striker wheel left little cuts in the first layer of my skin. A zippo has never done that to me

Fill it and forget it. Comes with an additional wick, six flints, and two o-rings (plus a "Zorro" brush..?). Bought the Zippo fuel canister to go with it and the two look great on a key chain (can even put the included wick and flint dispenser on the same key-chain)! Functions best when at 3/4 full, and the wick is cut low and smooshed.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this lighter. It came with spare flints & wicks, a small cleaning brush, and a couple spare rubber O rings. It’s stamped “fine copper” on the bottom but appears to be solid brass. I actually prefer brass for an application like this. The completely sealed design keeps the fluid from evaporating like it does in a Zippo. It’s not really large enough for big jobs like lighting a cigar, but it’s perfect for lighting a candle or starting a campfire. I ended up buying a second.

Tiny little lighter that lights every time. Not sure how well it will work in windy conditions since you blow it out to extinguish the flame . You get extras on almost everything, wick, flint, etc. Some people says it's heavy. It's not heavier then a Zippo and it's made out if brass. I carry it in my pocket and it disappears. Extra o rings provided which prevents leakage and evaporation of lighter fluid. It will be interesting to see how long the fluid will last since I considered that to be a major downfall with Zippo lighters.

This is a very nicely made lighter. Honestly it's much higher quality than I had expected at this price. I've wanted a nice reliable peanut-sized lighter for years. I don't smoke, I just want a small fire starter that I'll carry every day but may not light very often so it needs to be well sealed to hold fuel for when it's needed.I actually bought a very high-end titanium peanut lighter years ago and had high hopes that it would be my forever pocket fire starter. It wasn't. It just never lighted reliably. I sometimes had to spin the tiny striking wheel so many times that multiple fingers got sore before I ever got a flame. Eventually gave up on it and on peanut lighters in general for many years.When I saw this brass one for about ten bucks I decided to give it a try. What a pleasant surprise! It's solid and fit/finish are really great (much better than in the photo). Best of all there are lots of sparks and it fires up on the first spin almost every time. I'm very happy with it so far. It even came with replacement flints and a little cleaning brush. Wish I'd gotten this one years ago.

This lighter is a quality-made, reliable little lighter. I purchased one to keep on my everyday carry key-ring. It seems a little heavy for a lighter this small, but you get used to it after a few days. It's on my key-ring every day that I'm out somewhere. I was carrying a Zippo lighter in my pocket prior to this, but the fuel in the Zippo evaporates out quickly and the Zippo always smells of lighter fluid. This mini-lighter has a rubber seal that prevents the fuel from evaporating and it lights first try - every time. I test it every two or three days and on the first fill-up of lighter fluid, it lasted more than three weeks. To be sure, a Zippo might work better when you're using it in the wind, because there is no shield around the wick in this mini-lighter. But I'll take this over the Zippo any time for the convenience of its size and the fact that it doesn't leak lighter fluid or have any odor. This is a great little lighter and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to carry around a good-quality mini lighter without having to constantly replace used-up Bic lighters or carry something larger. I suspect some of my friends will be receiving this mini-lighter as holiday gifts next Christmas season.

Update: been using this every day for a few months now... Multiple times a day. Still 5 star! If I lost it I would immediately but again. I still haven't worn out either the wick or flint. Lights every time and I'm starting to like it better than my Zippo.Also the replacement process of the wick is going to be a bit tricky.... be prepared to use maybe needle and thread to get the wick thru the hole of the lighter. BTW.... i have yet to replace my wick.... only tugged on it (via pliers) to bring it up by 1/8th of and inch. I think i could do this maybe another 4-5 times before having to replace the wick. This thing has been solid in ALL temp conditions (butane lighters can be brutal in cold temps) and outdoor uses (wet or snowy fingers). I don't know if its the flash point of butane is so much higher than typical zippo fluid or that if you grab this brass piece out of your car it warms in your hand much quicker than a plastic lighter would... either way... I've snagged this lighter in sub zero weather and had it light up quickly....30-60 seconds faster than a plastic bic lighter. it seems to kick off in 1-3 strikes in 1-10 secs vs a bic that is 1 - 60+ strikes in 1sec - 2 min in extreme cold (i.e. 0 deg F to maybe -10 deg f). if above freezing than a bic / this lighter works... below that go with this style lighter. If you are outdoorsy go with this lighter.... its more tolerate of moisture and its not a huge weight impact.I'm ordering more a few more lighters!Original:I really like this lighter.... stays "fresh" unlike my Zippos. Not nearly as wind proof as a zippo but always lights.This is a great backup lighter or camping piece of kit. Very solid construction and comes with a lot of spare parts etc.Would definitely buy again.
