So far it's working out wonderfully! My boy has some facial paralysis that makes it difficult to keep all the feed in his mouth. This is a godsend. Took the old boy a few minutes and some guidance to figure it out but he's doing fab and it works awesome.

I purchased these and recieved them, they are Very Very Small!! There is no way these would work for a pony, cob or full size horse. They may work for a MINI HORSE but only a small one that doesn't eat much at all!! To give you a. Idea of how small they are, my 3 yr old cob size horse's hoof would full this bag completely!

I just got this today, so can’t comment on durability but I love the padded crown piece and the front of the bucket also has some padding which will hopefully prevent rubs. The other thing I love is that the binding seam at the bottom of the bucket is on the outside so good can’t get trapped under the binding. This nose bag should be much easier to clean than the Cashel one I’m currently using. I will likely be ordering 2 more if this one holds up!

I have been using feed bags for years to reduce feed droppage. I purchased the draft size. I like the fact that the bottom seam is on the outside. No more wasted food in the cracks of the seam. Easy to clean - just hose them off.

Cons: We bought 3 of these for our 3 horses. Two are 2.5 yrs old and the other is a filly. One the first night of feeding them with these feed bags, one of the buckles fell off. On the 3rd night of feeding them with these feed bags, one of the buckles broke. For anyone wondering, we stay by our horses when we feed them their dinner and stay until they're done. We were able to see how these worked and made sure there were no issues. We were able to buy more buckles off of Amazon to help fix the problem.Pros: This is a really cool idea for feeding time. It prevents my older horses from trying to bully our filly for her food. It's a great price for the money.It's a really cool design and I would give it a 4 or 5 star but when I have trouble with buckles on two different bags, I think there's a flaw in the design.

I bought this for feeding my horses outside. The leader of the pack always decides to eat everyone elses feed and not her own. So I decided to give one of these a try. I read multiple reviews and settled on this one. Its a decent size and has not made any rub marks on my horses nose (average size quarter horse). I gave it 4 stars because the plastic buckle slides quite a bit and dosn't like to stay where you put it, but I just tied a knot there and it works just fine. I have only used it off and on for a few months but it seems to be holding up well. My mare is also very gentle on things so it may show more wear if you have a more aggressive pony!

My husband's horse use to drop half her feed but she took to this feed bag right away. Two features I really like about this design are the mesh sides (for ventilation and if we don't get it off her, she can get a drink of water). I also l like the crown padding.
