These filters work well. The flow rate is slightly better than with the chemex brand name ones. Appears the paper is slightly thinner here, which helps prevent overbrewing the coffee. I like to fold and staple the extra paper - this helps reinforce the part of the cone wall that’s against the breather spout. I do the same thing with the brand name filters, which tend to collapse into the air channel and make a mess. These are a great value at time of review and I’m satisfied with the quality of filtration with these filters. I drink black coffee without additives using these for brewing.

I have been using Chemex filters for eons and bought these by mistake. These are way too thin, and don’t try to lift them with any water still in them as they will fold over and spill everywhere. They also seal the top of your Chemex when water is poured in them causing fluid to bubble up and spill onto the stove. I have been doubling them to prevent all this and you will too.

Not as thick as other generic filters, but on the positive side it takes up less space on the counter and I’ve never had any issues with it tearing. So I don’t think the thinness is a problem but perhaps a good solution.

These filters work great. They are easy to use and hold up to large amounts of wet coffee. They also hold up to me moving them in and out of the coffee carafe. They do not change the taste of the coffee which is very important to me. I was using a reusable cloth filter and just got tired of the whole lengthy process. These were such a time saver.

The Chemex or pour-over coffee maker must vent as the water passes through the coffee grounds and into the carafe. These filters, though, are made of such thin paper that it almost always collapses into the vent channel causing not only a slower drip, but sometimes the coffee bubbles out of the channel and spills onto the outside of the carafe. Not good.

The filters arrived in one day, super fast delivery. The quality of the filters is top notch as well for the price. Will definitely buy again.

These are thinner than brand filter but not much, but for my daily use, it’s enough and working with no issues at all. Can’t beat the price.

The paper is thinner which has some repercussions. First, the coffee will flow through faster than it would the thicker Chemex paper. Whether you can tell the difference between your coffee between the two is up to the drinker. Second, since it's thinner, the paper tends to collapse into the little spout more making a near perfect seal which doesn't air to easily pass from the lower chamber. However, air does push its way out but also causes the coffee to bubble over the lip and make a small mess. You can overcome this by putting a straw or chopstick to keep it from closing that spout. These aren't complaints but observations and if you wanted to save some money over the Chemex paper, I'd recommend it.
