I have hammydown strainers thst are mess. Would not stack like these. I treated myself to the set and hubs even said what an improvement!!

This set of four stainless steel colanders is REALLY well made, and I appreciate the solid craftsmanship. The micro-perforations are excellent for rinsing everything from pasta to delicate produce (without things falling through the holes), and the stainless steel is high quality, providing durability that feels like it will last through years of heavy use. Each colander in the set has a stable, elevated base, which keeps them sanitary by avoiding direct contact with surfaces.However, while the quality is fantastic, I can’t help but feel that four colanders may be overkill for most kitchens. My kitchen tasks don’t require this many options, and half the quantity would probably be sufficient for the majority of users. I would prefer a set of two (for half the price!), but I suppose they nest, so don't take up a ton of space...That said, if you’re in need of a variety of sizes or have a busy kitchen and use multiple colanders at the same time, this set is versatile and impressive. For those who love cooking with the right tools at hand, these colanders deliver both functionality and durability, though the option of a smaller set would certainly make it a better fit for everyday needs and budgets.

Just wanted to say I really appreciated the care they took in packaging/shipping. Individually plastic wrapped. Bubble wrap between each bowl. Blue static cling on the edges for protection from scratching. And they are strong steel. Just got them so haven’t used them yet, but very impressed so far.

This is a set of well made strainers. Some strainers are made of screen, but these are perforated sheet metal, which doesn't have the nooks and crannies that the screen does, so they will probably dry faster. 304 stainless steel sometimes gets light surface discoloration, but it is easily removed with normal cleaning and would seldom occur in a kitchen setting.The metal seems thick enough to stand up to robust use. The handles are simple loops of metal, not extremely comfortable but adequate for brief usage as one normally does with a strainer. Importantly, the metal is smooth without sharp edges.
