Love these tongs. The lock, for silicon coated, and work well. The 2 different sizes are nice to have. They are heat resistant and lightweight.

Decently made for the price. The only negative I see is that that silicone goes too much beyond the metal tips and as a result cannot grip the food item firmly.

Love the silicone, love that they come in two sizes (9 and 12 inches), great value for the two items!I haven't had them long so I will have to report back if they really are anti-rust. So far, they've worked great for turning fish and vegetables. I also like that the locking ring doubles as a hook loop.

These stainless-Steel kitchen tongs seem to be well constructed. Having used them now for two cooking sessions, they performed flawlessly.My favorite feature is the silicone on the tips that allow you to utilize them in nonstick surfaces without fear of scratching the surfaces. Additionally, another marker of quality is that the tongs align up perfectly on the ends. I mention that due to the fact that I have used others that were not aligned and that had a looseness, or perhaps one could say they had too much play in them. These seem to have a tighter tolerance, better fit, and perform just as I would expect them too.For those who have the place to hang them, there is a small silicone top loop that would allow you to hang them out of the way for storage. That ring on the end is also silicone coated, so that will prevent it from slipping off a metallic hook as easily, from which it is hanging. Pulling on the silicone round ring on the top of the tongs is also the manner in which you open them, in readying them for use.I also appreciate the fact that the tongs are easily comported to a smaller size, so that if you have them in a drawer as I do, they will take up a bit less room.I do recommend this set of tongs, feeling that they are well constructed and with even reasonable care, should last for many years of dependable service. Every close inspection that I make of them proves their construction to be well worth the price. A good investment in your culinary pursuits.
