The knives are well balanced and have a nice heft (comfortable to holed / use). I gave them a 4 because they could be a bit sharper for my taste. Worth the money.

These knives are sharp and are as described. We bought them first as our outside BBQ cutlery, but now have even used them regularly for lunch/dinner. They seem to hold an edge well enough that we have not yet saw a need to (re)sharpen them. Also, design-wise, they look aesthetically pleasing enough that we are considering this set as gifts to other folks. Ergonomically, they are nicely balanced and can be easily handled. Overall, also considering the price, a great set.

Was time for an upgrade and I found these good quality, nice and sharp. I like the Sleep design. I like that they have the straight blade instead of the jagged edge. Cuts through super easily and was a nice step up from what we originally had. Would make a nice gift to come nicely box.

Received and 3 of the set had the tangs raised above the wood handles. Could cut yourself using. Returned waiting for replacements. Everything else is nice but not safe. Not great quality control. To be continued…Update: received replacement order. None of the issues of the first set.

These knives are nice for their price point and overall they have more positives than negatives. On a scale of 1 (cheap) to 5 (premium), these are about 2.5 - not bad for about $11 per knife.The knives are sharp out of the box, giving you that "oh wow these cut well" reaction. The blade is smooth instead of serrated so sharpening the knives is much simpler - even those cheap tabletop sharpeners will keep a nice edge.Also, the knife is all one piece of metal from the blade to the bottom of the handle. This makes the knife sturdy and robust, they'll easily last until you eventually upgrade to a new set of knives in the future.For the negatives, I found them just a little too small for me. I'm a guy with medium-sized hands and the blade is fine, but the handle is quite slim and short. Not a deal breaker, just something I wish that I had researched before purchasing.Lastly, I was expecting real wood from reading the Amazon page describing them as "natural wood", specifying them as "pakkawood". I didn't research this until I received the item, but pakkawood is a product comprised of wood mixed with resin which is why they feel like hard plastic. I feel that others like myself are expecting the handles to be proper wood.Overall I'd recommend them to anyone who is either upgrading from their first set of cheap knives (or don't have a set) while also being price-conscious. However, if you specifically wanted real wood handles or if you have medium/large hands, this probably isn't right for you. I hope that helps!

Nice knives and good value for a relatively low cost. The storage box is nice as well.Would definitely buy again and would consider giving these as a gift.
