Haven’t used them yet but they’re super comfortable and should do a great job.I appreciated the hat provided. I have a small head and it’s tight in me but hope it works.

These are a nice set of welding gloves and hat. I have similar name brand items and these are just as good. The gloves are true to size, protective but flexible enough to allow me to feed in filler wire. Hat is also a nice, protects the back of my neck and fits nicely under my hood. Overall happy with this set!

I'd probably wear a size larger with cotton gloves underneath if you want more heat protection. Otherwise, these will keep the sparks from burning your skin. Definitely thinner than anything I've used before.

For me TIG welding gloves should be nice thin leather gloves that allow you to have the finger dexterity to handle the torch and filler ready easily. I have order a few pairs in the past that were nice gloves but too thick and bulky to be used for TIG, but not this pair. These gloves are thin and fit well, without bulky seams. I like the slightly longer cuffs as well since they give me that little extra overlap with my welding jacket. I have big hands and typically have an issue with getting gloves that fit. I ordered a pair of XL's and the fit is nearly perfect for what I want for TIG. The fingers are the right length and snug, but still easy enough to slip on and off. The thumb's are a little bit long, but not by much and do not impact dexterity or my ability to maneuver the torch. I know that I would need to spend a lot more money to get a pair of gloves that any better than this pair and it wouldn't be by much.
