Great product overall, but I had to return it. The Prexiso laser for the wall worked well, but the base wiggles, and you can’t rotate it, which made it difficult for my needs. If those features aren’t an issue for you, it’s a solid choice.

**Update** 3rd day of use and it stopped working.Small enought to fit in a tool bag, but projects like a full size. I bought it for tile jobs and it impressed me. Definitely recommend

It didn't work very well for me on leveling driveway gate post. Couldn't see it when I was only 20 ft away. Would work good at night or inside.

We're in the process of renovating our old, new house and gutted the kitchen to bring it into the modern era. Our reno requires making new electric and counter installations at precise levels that liquid levels cannot achieve over lengths longer than 48 inches. The PREXISO Laser Level with Tripod is an excellent, well designed and crucial instrument in this process that makes these tasks easier to execute by providing a datum line on the horizontal and vertical planes. These lines are then be used to install electric receptacles at the same level above the counters - counters that have been leveled by the lazer's vertical and horizontal projected lines. The PREXISO Lazer Level is easy to use even for the neophyte new to this technology; the instructions are easy to understand and the results are extraordinary! Highly recommended.

It works fine. I have used it to hang dozens of pictures with equal spacing and height. The tripod is pretty cheap. Weak and very short. When I use it I have to put the tripod on a table, but it's easy to do.
