Twice a year I need to change summer screens for winter glass. These clips usually last a year or two, then I replace them.

Easy to install and adjust. They are exactly like the only one left holding the glass panel i the storm door of the front door on our new home. Ow no more wobbli g and banging of the glass when the storm door is opened or closed!

This is my second time ordering them for a second application. The first set, being exposed to the sun all the time, got brittle and broke pretty quick, but I rectified that and now they have been in place for the last 5 years. This set was to hold a clear piece of lexan over a screen door so you could have the door open during the winter and see outside but not have the cold air blowing it. I wedge these between the door frame and the lexan and it works to hold it in place. To keep them lasting a long time:1. I washed them clean as some of the ones I had in place were dirty. It's important to start clean.2. I poured out a little cup of Armor All or the like and soaked these in them overnight. This protectant will fend off the sun and keep them from getting brittle. It worked so good for the first set, I haven't had to replace them once I did this. I can take them on and off to clean the lexan without worrying about them breaking etc. They have been in place for years so I expect this second set will do just as good.I hope you found this helpful!

The clips themselves are probably wonderful. They are certainly well made. The screw to tighten them down was more than adequate to do the job.*I* just didn't measure correctly and the clips are too small for my application. Totally my fault.

These are plastic. I was expecting metal. Plus they didn’t fit my screen door.

These adjustable clips are a must have! Original plastic clips are held in by tension and are prone to stress fractures and fatigue over time. These are metal and are fully adjustable to hold the screen, glass panel or both! The lip on my particular screen door was too large for these clips but with a pair of tin snips and really good needle nose pliers you can make these fit like a glove. My screen door originally had 4 plastic clips to keep everything in place. This order came with 8 clips and holds everything in place so well that I now have very little cold are seeping through during the winter months. Do your research and order the size you need unless you’re like me and like to improvise.

This part is a life saver. My parent's had little plastic clips to hold glass/screen. These broke over the years. We implemented a "hack" of compressing 3/8 inch CPVC sink supply lines (pieces about 2 inches long) and wedging these in the openings for the clips. Eventually these crack or the plastic takes a set and they are no longer tight. These clips hooked in the slot and we tightened up the thumb screw, PERFECT. I also used them to replace the plastic strip on my Larson full view storm door. The old ones would deform in the heat and come loos. I purchased two sets from Larson directly ($40+). They would fail in 12 months. These little clips are the best solution. Hold the glass firmly and the thumb screw adjusts any variance. If you want to try for your solution, make sure you measure the clip size needed. There are multiple sizes. Get the right one, you won't regret it
