All the starter ropes that I have installed are more rigid. This was very difficult to install in my Johnson 15hp outboard that specs 5/32” starter cord I.e. 4mm. It seems to be regular nylon cord. It’s so soft that to thread it through the reel or the handle I needed to melt the end. Very hard to get the solid melted end to be 4 mm. Lubed everything up to thread it. I ended up drilling out the reel after 30 frustrating minutes. I installed it because I wanted to get the motor running. Next time I will use a quality pull rope. I will update this review if it fails prematurely

Had to get my poulan pro pp2822 hedge trimmer back in operation due to a broken rope. Ordered one from local shop but was too short and too thick. This was perfect thickness and I got enough to do at least one more machine, perhaps my chainsaw when and if the need arises.

Was not co-operative in melting the end to stop unraveling, but super sturdy cord! If you need 4.5 diameter cord, definitely pick this one!

Very good heavy duty pull cord. I ordered wrong size for application but will work good on Stihl chainsaws.
