I bought 12 and 20 gauge jags and they are both the same style-not exactly as pictured. I also use Hoppes and Sinclair patches and with one patch they are both very loose, not even making contact with the inner wall of the barrel. Using 2 patches is tighter but not very tight - how it should be. I don't know what brand and thickness patches they recommend using to use with their jags. Maybe with thicker patches it might work better for some, but it's not my preference.

It's a Jag - and it works well. Not much more to say.It isn't a long-shaft Jag as pictured: it's a "stubby" one, but it allows me to quickly clean my Mossberg 500 20 ga. barrel thoroughly. It makes quick work of powder residue with some decent cleaning patches and a good solvent.The 5/16"-27 male thread size fits most larger diameter cleaning rods directly, or rifle cleaning rods with a shotgun thread adapter.
