The proctor silex 40 Cup commercial coffee Urn features one cup-a-minute brewing and maintains the proper serving temperature in order to serve fresh-tasting coffee to large groups and gatherings. Available in 40 Cup, 60 cup, and 100 cup, Proctor Silex Commercial coffee Urn have a durable brushed aluminum finish and are commercially rated and NSF listed. Inside, a dual heater system is designed to create consistent brews. First the center heater brews coffee and shuts off, and then a gentle warming heater prevents overcooking. The boil-dry protection feature automatically turns the unit off when water in the tank has completely boiled away. Convenient one-hand dispensing fills cups fast, speeding up coffee service lines and the water/coffee window shows when the coffee level is low. The coffee level tube is easy to remove for cleaning and the metal cover holds the coffee tube in place for easy viewing. The Urn includes a plastic filter basket, eliminating the need for paper coffee filters. The Urn features a twist-and-lock lid minimizing the chance for spillage, and the heavy-duty plastic handles provide convenient portability. I bought this urn for work, so we all can have coffee in the mornings. And the last version of this pot lasted us close to 7 years. So this new one has some LARGE shoes to fill. I have a feeling that it will do us very well.

Bought this item for our church and works very well. Heats up quickly and makes our coffee that we need for our social hour after our church worship service has been completed. Recommend. Rural Richard.

This is a great coffee pot. We use these for large functions and they seem to last along time. The only downside is that you cannot get the replacement parts, like the stem, through amazon. The only replacement was located through an outside source for $7, but the shipping was $21. This is something to considering making available.

Le café se fait rapidement et facile à nettoyer. Le café reste chaud très longtemps, très pratique surtout si on l'utilise à pleine capacité. Très satisfaite de cet achat, je l'ai utilisée plusieurs fois lorsque j'avais plusieurs invités. Ne fait pas beaucoup de bruit et la lumière verte s'allume quand le café est prêt.

It works fine for a percolator. There are grounds and oily residue in the bottom of the container, making it difficult to wash after use. Keeps coffee hot for hours. This replaced a large drip coffee maker which we love, but they don't seem to be available anymore, and we could no longer find filters for it. We do like the one-handed dispenser though.

This coffee pot leaks and is junk. I definitely don't recommend it, save yourself the hassle and Do not buy it!

I chose this to replace a non-working coffee maker for our small church's social hours. It does a great job, just what we needed. Easy to use, keeps the coffee hot for a long time, and attractive enough to suit our needs.
