This foam balance pad is great for doing yoga stretches when you need additional support on your body. I use it for my knees especially when doing long holds. It keeps my joints from fatiguing. No complaints!

Nice firm thick cushion! I bought this as a knee pad to use with my functional trainer so I could do kneeling lat pulldowns. Works really well! I’m 155 lbs and it supports my weight well, relieving all pressure on my knee. I’m able to comfortably kneel to so the exercise. It appears to be good quality foam, thick and does the job! Very happy because my knees aren’t too great (a little osteoarthritis in one) and I wouldn’t be able to kneel for exercises without extra padding.

Great for stability training. It's great for beginners or those recovering from injury. It's easy to use and is more stable than a wobble balance board, but you still feel the balancing effect as you exercise. I weight a little over 200 pounds and it had no issue supporting my weight. I recommend if you are taller to the the larger size, I am 6ft and got the 40cm, but think the 50cm would be better for me for squats. I recommend.

This was a miss for me. Having just finished several weeks of PT for an ankle where a wobble pad was used, I was excited to maybe have one for home at a lower than expected cost. However this is a super lightweight foam like styrofoam rather than the blubbery material in my PT's office from a brand name. It may provide some wobble for someone recovering from severe injury, but for day to day strengthening it is pretty firm and stable.Description does indicate it's "portable," but on secondary review having the shipping weight listed would help differentiate between this product and what I was expecting. It will probably make a decent pad for knees or elbows, but isn't dense enough to absorb footfall noise or vibration. I might just turn it into a nice firm sitting cushion.

I am currently going to physiotherapy every week to rehab from an illness and one of the pieces of equipment there that I use all the time is a foam balance pad like this one. The foam pad at the clinic feels a little softer than this one which is more rigid and compresses less. I think that the one there is softer because it has been used a lot and this one may soften up with time. Either way I find it a challenge just to stand on the foam for a length of time but I also do squats and balance on one leg on it. It's a really great way to work all the lower body and core muscles.
