This is the third set of gloves from this company that I have requested to try out and to review. The large size does fit a large hand. The fingers for this style are a little larger in diameter than the other style. They also don't have the giant, phallic thumb. The "tread" on the palm is less than the other styles, so if you want the deep tread, order the other style. Check the pictures that they have on the product page.I'll probably use these more for garden work than for the logs and splitting work.

These just showed up. I ordered them to replace old ones that began to show heavy signs of wear and tear. Holes and tears. They stopped suppressing vibrations and shock. These ones work flawlessly, I don't feel anything and that is the entire point. Primarily I use them for edging the lawn but I imagine they'd be good for riding my dirt bike.Good gloves for hard work.

My husband drives a wrecker and is often in the middle of an intersection picking up what's left over from a horrible crash; glass, sharp pieces of metal, pretty much everything you can imagine he has to pick up. I got him these gloves to protect him from the dangerous stuff he has to pick up and also when he has to pull on the winch. It's made out of steel almost like rebar and without protection the spikes will penetrate the skin. These are heavy duty gloves that will keep his hands safe while doing his job. They will not allow for dexterity jobs because they just squish up into your palms when you close your hand. The cinched cloth at the wrist is greatly appreciated not only to keep the wrist protected but to keep the glove in place.

These are great protection, I have not used them yet with something that will have a high amount of vibration, but so far with a chainsaw, circular saw, jigsaw and the like work great. Highly recommended.

These gloves definitely do what they say. The rubber material is quite pronounced, almost like treads on brand new tired. Probably not advised, but I smacked the back of my hand with a hammer to see how it would hold up. Like a dull blow, but nowhere near painful. I'm super impressed, as I have been known to smash a thumb or three with a waffle headed hammer. That is suboptimal. Additionally, there is virtually no vibration felt with cordless power tools. I don't own many higher powered versions so I can't speak to, say, a jackhammer or anything. The only drawback is that the wide rubber nubs mean the fingers don't form to your hand as well as every other thick gloves. I have a pair that are cut/slash resistant and the difference is night and day. Obviously they serve different purposes, but it was a good reminder to keep healthy expectations about these things. There's no way you're picking up nuts or washers while working on your car or doing other work - I tried disassembling a pulley just to see how these would feel while using a cordless wrench and while the vibration was minimal, I couldn't hold onto the socket for the life of me in order to attach it. had to take the glove off to do so. Just an FYI
