Got this to delay-on the relay when my generator is started. I have a remote start generator, but as soon as it is running, it energizes the output. I really want it to have a couple of minutes to warm up/settle out before the power is applied to the output. So I got this in hopes of solving that issue. The thing is the timer. It is much more capable than needed for this job. Which also makes it much more difficult. And I have not figured out how to just do a simple delay-on---one time---each time the power is applied to it (that is all I need). This timer (from what I can tell) is more of a cycle timer that repeats its program as long as power is applied to it. And it wants to have its time set like a clock. NONE of that is important or even helpful for my application.Wiring is simple enough for the timer and relay, but the timer is more capable and challenging than I need.I will be looking for a single operation delay-on timer to use instead with this same relay. The relay is nice and very capable for what I need. I can not vouch for longevity, or actual current handling. Most relays/contactors that I have experience with that are this high in current ratings are capable of being opened and cleaned/repaired if the contacts become dirty or worn. I do not see how to get inside of this relay in order to clean or check the contacts without likely damaging the relay itself.

Normally, in reviews, I don't mention the poorly written / poorly translated instructions, which range from hilarious to pathetic. But with an item like this, understanding the instructions is extremely important. Here, the poor translations have kept me from being able to use this item, because I can't quite figure out how to get it to do what I need it to do, or how to connect it properly and safely. And it's not just the instructions for programming that are poor. They don't speak at all to connection or installation.I'll admit that I'm not an electrician. Maybe if I was, the instructions would make more sense to me. However, I'm a fairly advanced DIYer, who has (correctly) installed MANY light switches, outlets, and the like -- even in more complicated scenarios, such as where there are 2 or 3 switches that control a single light.Give me decent instructions, and I'll get the job done. These are NOT (in my opinion) decent instructions. I've included photos of the included instructions, so you can make your own assessment.

Good fitment on the standard DIN Rail.Easy-to-read display, and clock/programming set up is easy/intuitive. wire clamps are firm with good threading.Plastic parts seem nicely formed with good milling on the dies. The description says "2 Modules", but to avoid confusion, they mean the [Qty 1] unit is (2 X 18mm) 36mm wide.I would buy again.
