Product Description

A woman drinking water from a clear glass. Text reads: ProOne water filters
A water filter. Text reads: High-quality filtration. Helps reduce over 200 contaminants.
  • Scrub each filter under cold running water without allowing water to go inside the blue stem. After scrubbing your filters, cycle 3 batches of water through them and dump the water. Start drinking your water on the fourth cycle for the best taste.

  • Allow your filter elements to dry out, then wrap them in a cloth and store them in a safe place. If you store filter(s) inside the gravity system, make sure they have ample padding to prevent breakage.

  • We recommend cleaning your systems and filters at least once a month.

  • If you are not using your filters or system for more than 4–7 days, drain the water and air-dry the filters. Wrap the filters in a terry cloth towel and store them in a cool, dry place. Do NOT put them in a plastic bag or any enclosed container.

  • Each ProOne G2.0 filter has a general lifespan of up to 6 months with daily use. Using more filters at a time will increase their lifespan and flow rate at the same time. Using 3 filters at a time will provide the fastest flow rate.

I got these for my Berkey water system and I like them a lot. They fit well and filter pretty quickly

My municipal water supply has been neglected and allowed to grow mold, fungus, bacteria and has dirt in it all over town. I've had a Pro One fresh water can in my home for years and it continually delivers fresh clear clean water that I need and expect.

I bought a ProOne Water Filter system and spent a lot of money on filters, but I was fooled. Recently, I changed the original filters and I noticed that the water tasted terrible. I did the blue food coloring test and it went directly through the filter and was blue! I was so upset! I thought maybe it was the 2 filters I put in there, so I brought out 2 more brand new filters and did the blue food coloring test again. The exact same thing happened, which means that the filters are not working!!! I thought I was getting a good system and it's worthless! I looked up the testing that the Health Ranger (Mike Adams) did in his own lab. I recommend that you look at his review of the ProPur(ProOne) water filter. The results are NOT good. I implore you not to spend money on a water filter that not only does not work, but as far as lead goes, makes it worse!

Slightly faster flow rate than Berkey black filters. I like the ceramic/charcoal combination, and that you can clean/scrub these monthly. Only downside is that the nut stripped VERY easily on one of my filters and is barely holding the filter in place, just enough to seal it, so, cheap hardware. I may find a metal nut to throw on. Will update in 6 months.

Because this filter is replacing an identical one that worked great for almost 1year. I was surprised this one did not. Tried 3 times with start up rinsing while brushing with included sponge. it started out with flow ,then in a hour or two stops. ! Update ! after the fourth scrubbing while running under water It finally started producing water. What I have learned is some of these filters will take longer to clear out and produce water than others so that’s the lesson I have learned is not to give up on pro one even though they are very expensive. I believe they do the job properly and last a reasonably long time.

I bought these because I didn't like priming the Berkey filters. They were a hassle. My friend suggested I try these and I absolutely love them!!!
