Boy is this little gizmo slick. I bought this inexpensive one because I didn't want to pay $50 for the one at the big box store where I live. I had one of those other ones for maybe 15 years before it "just got old," and finally gave it up. I like this one better. You can get a smoothly controllable tiny flame out of it. Since I use it to light stuff on fire, sometimes a tiny flame is all you need. Now my gas will last even longer.

This is an absolute piece of junk. The control knob is hard to turn. The control of the flame if very bad, if none existent. Pointing the flame slightly downward from the horizontal fails miserably and it turns into a uncontrollable and dangerous blow torch. It cannot create a simple clean and pointed flame tip.Do not buy it!

I’ve had a Bernzomatic torch I bought at Walmart for $15 or so that I’ve been using for for over 5 years without issues. I figured I’d buy a new torch to have as a backup and found this one shipped and sold by Amazon, so it must be decent… first one I got worked once and then never worked again, but luckily I was still within the return window. I requested an even exchange, and second one exhibited the same issue. For $20 you’d think it’d be better than or equal to the Walmart one.This thing feels super cheap and plasticky and doesn’t work. It feels very light in the hand as well. Complete waste of money and time.

I bought it for a friend as a gift and they said it's pretty good aside from the fuel adjuster, you have to turn it about a half turn for the flame to ignite.

This thing never worked right out of the box. Sporadic flame at best. Last time I used it gas shot out of both ends. Was unable to turn it off as the plastic shut off valve became engulfed in fire. Had to throw it out in the backyard while flames shot out of both ends and put it out with a drychem extinguisher. Do not buy!!!

Installed it in a standard small propane tank used it once, volume adjustment is full on as soon as you turn it a little. Then second time pulling the trigger something broke inside and started releasing the propane. Tried shutting the valve and had to remove the device all together as I did it seemed to fall apart on me. After only the second use. Not worth it
