I’ve had a number of propane, electric torches and unfortunately they have to be unscrewed from the tank because they always seem to leak.This has a positive shut off that so far has been very good.I would recommend it

I didn't get to finish my project with this torch. It did not easily thread onto the top of a regular Benzomatic MAP propane cannister, which was a first warning. But worst was when it stopped working a few minutes into the project.It got glitchy, then stopped altogether.The ignitiion button stopped.It wouldn't light with an external flame or spark.Then I couldn't get the piece of junk off the top of my MAP cannister without the help of a huge wrench.Immediate to the garbage. Waste of money. Set my project by hours and added needless stress to a difficult soldering project. I suggest you look elsewhere if you want a torch that works, this is only good as a gag gift.

Works. Like the lock feature to keep flame on, with separate flame adjustment. The quality seems maybe a bit flimsy, but as of now, it works quite well (though I wouldn't try dropping it!).
