I have no experience with this type of tool but it works great! Used it to melt snow and ice on my driveway and it was a breeze. Not a huge flame but it gets the job done. Going to be using it to shou sugi ban some lumber soon and I think it will work perfectly for that!

Quality: Picture this, you scroll through page after page of boring products. Each item glowing, shimmering, begging for your attention. Yet you remain indifferent, for you have yet to find the GAS-BRUH Flamethrower*! When attached to a 20# propane tank, I've gotten roughly 1 hour of continuous flame with very little weight change.Functionality: For the intended purpose of weed removal, it works surprisingly well. I used it to burn old briars in my overgrown garden before tilling. It makes removal and gardening a breeze!Overall: I would highly suggest this product to anyone. Normally I put something like "Anyone who (insert niche group)" but not today. Everyone needs this in their life, trust me it's awesome.*Not actually a flamethrower

We live out in the country, and my wife is obsessed with weed control, which is a really bad combination! We have tons of weeds around our house and barn and everywhere in between. My wife had a smaller size burner that would take her many hours to burn all of the weeds. This one is a lot heavier duty, and a much bigger flame diameter so she can move more quickly. It is a nice sturdy unit, and we have noticed no gas leaks at all. Highly recommend this if like my wife, you are an avid and dedicated weed burner!

My previous experience with torches was a 50,000 BTU torch I gave to my sister, so I ordered this 1,200,000 - 1,800,00 BTU GasBRUH torch as a replacement. This is so much more powerful. The Amazon description lists 1.2 M while the manual and packaging lists 1.8 M. I contacted the seller that basically explained, and I looked up more details on Google. Torch BTUs are variable based on how full the tank is, size of tank used, differences in regulator construction which affects gas output, outdoor temperature, etc. The 50K torch was tedious to kill weeds because it covered a small diameter area. This one covers a really large area more efficiently killing weeds. We very rarely get freezing weather and there is no doubt that this can melt snow & ice quickly compared to the 50K. The torch can also be used to light fire pits and charcoal barbeque. The igniter works well. The Turbo Boost lever is not used when igniting the torch or when idle. The flame is like a large yellow-color pilot light. Pressing and holding the lever will turn the yellow flame into a large powerful blue flame. Simply turning the valve knob an additional ½ turn will maximize the flame. When placed within a few inches of the ground, the flame will spread several times the diameter of the nozzle.I used to routinely use herbicides and grass killers to kill weeds and grass. The chemicals used are toxic, usually require time-consuming dilution of concentrates, preparation and clean-up of sprayers. A torch is immediately ready to go and eliminates all of the above. You only need to momentarily torch weeds, and they’ll show they’re dead days later. The handle and Turbo Boost lever are both ergonomic. A 1 lb. bottle counterbalances the torch nicely.A nice full-length zippered, dual handled, denier-like bag is included. To protect the disassembled torch, a foam insert custom-cut to the dimensions of the torch and bag is included. Where the 2 shafts of the torch screw together, there is one O-ring. The seller includes three spare replacement O-rings. A small flat wrench is also included to tighten/loosen the shafts. There is a nice Velcro strap with buckle to conveniently bind the folded hose for storage.A very complete, well-written manual in grammatically correct English is included with good diagrams. An email address and text phone number are included for support.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this GasBRUH torch.

This is a solid gas burner. The quality is decent and comes with nice extras such as two fuel size connections. Easy to assemble with sealed o-rings and gas tape to prevent leaks and waste of propane - appreciate the attention to detail. My only concern is that the flame size and heat is limited to low to mid level - a short (2 inch) yellow flame. I was hoping the flame size would be bigger and hotter (blue). It does work well for starting an outside fire pit.

This torch was great for burning the surface of a redwood cedar bird house to make it more resistive to fire, insects and decay. Plus it looks cool. Shou Sugi Ban is the Japanese name of the technique. Some may know it is Yakisugi. It does make the wood darker and more prone to absorbing heat so I wouldn't recommend it for any birdhouse. But for birdhouses in the shade, its great.

Used it for annoying weeds coming through the driveway. This gets rid of them real quick. You can also get a bonfire going quick too
