Nice design and lightweight, but our 1/2 size violin did not fit in, and because there is very little padding in the internal rims of the case, it is even impossible to try to squeeze the violin in...so we had to return it. The dimensions of the case on the website are all incorrect, so it is hard to realize if the case is going to work for you unless you order it and try it out.

I bought the 3/4 size in Fuschia (Pink) for my granddaughter. She loves it! I'm so happy! I was hesitant, initially, because there was a review, in which it was said that their case was tight fit for the violin. I decided that if that was the situation with our case, that I would modify the case to accommodate the violin. It wasn't necessary - the violin fits perfectly!

The violin fits perfectly in the case. it is well padded and comes with a string cover. There is a Velcro strap to hold the violin in place, and it ties tightly enough. This case is for my son to take to school, which means a lot of lugging around and accidental bumps. The case holds the violin securely and gives adequate protection. It survived a year without much wear showing. The zippered pouch on the outside is large enough for some sheet music, although books larger than letter size (8.5x11) may not fit well. A shoulder rest can also fit in, but it is a little tight.The case comes with straps that can be attached on the side for carrying over the shoulder. It can also be attached on the bottom for carrying on the back like a backpack. Straps are not fancy, but wide enough to feel comfortable.Overall, this is what I would expect from a case and the price is good. I got the 4/4 version when my son out-grew the old one.

This is a high quality case for a 1/2 size violin. It is well made and very protective. The pocket is a nice feature - good for a chin rest, but not quite big enough for a Suzuki violin book.

Came with no shoulder or backpack straps. Worse, the violin barely fits in the case! There's only 1 way to get it in, and the instrument needs to be pushed to make it seat correctly. I hope the padding will eventually mold to the violin, but in the mean time, I'm not impressed.On the bright side, the front pocket does fit the shoulder rest! (The main reason for purchasing the case.)

This violin case is very lightweight. The strap makes it easy to carry. It's sturdy and protective. I bought this to replace my son's hardshell case because he joined an orchestra and needed the strap and most of all, the outside pocket for carrying his shoulder rest. I would highly recommend this case!

This case fits our new 1/2 Gliga violin snuggly, the black interior looks classy. There is enough room in the front pocket for the shoulder rest so you don't have to cram it around the finger board any more. The zippers are wide and sturdy. We are very happy with this case!
