I installed this rubber boot on a DeWalt DCF921, and it fits snugly with no gaps or sliding around on the tool. The ventilation slots are not blocked, and the cover does not block the LEDs on the front. The cover comes in a clear bag with no installation instructions or labeling as to what tool it fits. Installation must be done carefully, as the section of the boot between the trigger and the anvil is the narrowest part, and most likely to break. I slipped the cover over the front of the tool first, and while gripping the front of the cover tightly against the front of the tool to protect that area, stretched the cover over the back of the tool.The boot fits the impact wrench well, protects the housing of the tool, and, aside from the lack of instructions, I can find nothing to complain about.
