This is a very affordable case that works well.The cases are much deeper than a Technics 1200, so if you're looking for the slimmest / lightest case for a 1200, this isn't it. Despite this, they provide plenty of extra foam, which I used to build up 4 foam risers in the case for the 1200's feet to sit on, bringing the top of the 1200 flush with the top of the case. The pictures for the listing show the extra foam having velcro on the back, but what actually came was foam with 3M adhesive strips, which I prefer.There is a large soft foam cube included which does have velcro on the back so you can position it over the platter. With my 1200 raised so it is flush with the top edge of the case, I can feel that I have to slightly compress this foam to close the case, which I like. This ensures the platter will not fall off or move during transport.The case has rubber feet on 2 sides - one as you can see in the pictures for when the case is closed and standing upright like a briefcase, and the other set on the bottom when the case is set on a table with the lid off for access to the turntable. The latter feet mentioned make it where the recessed corner balls on the bottom of the case won't stack with the lid. This isn't a big deal though, as I feel that the rubber feed add some isolation, and they are grippy so that if you do stack the lid underneath, the case won't slide around on top of the lid.The latches, handle, and corner bracing feel like they are very solid, and all the aluminum trim lines up very well.The description mentions wheels - this case does not have any.

This case is heavy duty! You get a lot of bang for your buck! I’m a musician, and I use it to carry a pedal board. So far it has been great!

Works very well. Very sturdy and the hard foam shims make it a tight fit with my Technics 1200 MK5. I won't be flying with my gear but I wouldn't hesitate to put it on a plane, although I would put an extra foam cushion for extra protection. I also have a Pro X flight case for my Pioneer DDJ-SX3 controller and have had it for a year and it has been a tank for my gigging. Very happy with this brand of product.

Built good, but measurements are inconsistent between two cases. Not enough foam come with cases to properly fit Technics SL1200’s. Was going to return cases, but after talking to XPro I changed my mind. XPro said they would send me all foam needed to properly fit my 1200’s. XPro never sent foam, no integrity. Be prepared to buy more foam. I will probably sell the cases or just throw them away. Road Ready Cases are the real deal, not XPro...

Tomany extra parts.. Doesnt truely fit perfect.. But works... Wish there was a sliding deck for laptop.
