This was purchased for a 12 year-old 85 lb male Labrador retriever after abdominal surgery. One of the reviewers posted a video showing how the garment could be worn with the part that usually is wrapped over the tail area and back under the stomach could, instead, be brought over the back and anchored at the neck. Something similar to a tank top. This meant that I did not have to loosen or unsnap any part of the recovery suit in order for my dog to urinate while still maintaining complete coverage of the surgical area. This video was the reason I purchased the suit.Regarding the material - it is soft, lightweight and stretchy. Importantly - it was very easy to get on my dog given he was in pain.Totally recommend it.

I bought this suit for our male dog who was neutered. The suit works okay, but the material is a bit on the flimsy side. By the third day, the fabric was getting sloppy, enabling our pup to almost get to his wound. I “upgraded” to a brand named product for about six dollars more, and the difference in quality is apparent, so I do think there are better options available, at least for this application. That said, this isn’t a terrible option, just not my favorite. I do recommend getting two suits, as you will need an extra when the suit needs to be washed every couple of days. This suit will be perfect to be used for a backup.

Purchased two different sizes s/m and m but they both are too small. The size that’s supposed fit my dogs is the s/m (I followed the measurements given) and it pulled at the neck and legs. I thought it was on backwards so I flipped it and it fit the same except the tail hole. The second one fit the same way. Very disappointed because the reviews were really good. It’s a tshirt material nothing special. The best part is the Velcro closure. Every step he took I had to adjust it. These are way too expensive for the quality material.

Two labs. Males 55 lbs each. One tall and lanky. One stockier. We ordered the Size medium. It’s a little snug on the tall lanky pup but very doable. We also ordered the wonder suit in size XL. It was twice the price. They both work. This one is like a really thick cotton like baby’s onesie. Great but if you need to wash it, the dry time is super long. The wonder suit dries super fast. Neither have potty hole so you have to unwrap to prepare them to potty. We bought another one that has a potty holes will come back to give comparison on the value of that attribute. Serves its purpose. The wonder suit is twice the price, so buying two for each dig seemed excessive. You could buy 4 of these or two of those so it depends on how much you like laundry time.

My dog measures right at 24 inches (and is 52 pounds) and I went with a medium. Fits great! Very soft, yet sturdy, and easy to put on. For potty time just tuck the Velcro area up under the belly and stick it to strip at the neck. So easy! Would definitely recommend!

Incredible product! The fit for my Mini Doodle was perfect! Tilly, my 5 year old 22 pound puppers loved it! It went on easily, has excellent breathable materials and it fit like a glove! 10/10 product!

This was a disappointment. This didn’t fit properly and it was easy for our dog to get his paws out and yes it was the right size for him.

This recovery suit is exactly what we needed for our little shih tzu, we were in the market searching for a product that’s both made with quality material, breathable, and stretchable. The PupShield from Tail Trusted delivered everything we were looking for.The sizing chart is accurate, we were able to measure our dog and match it to the size chart provided in the listing. The size is perfect as you can see in my video.Our little one is very particular with any fabric that goes over him, we are very happy to see he felt comfort and safe in the pupshield.Overall, I definitely think this is a quality product with an attractive price. Highly recommend!
