My puppy & I go for runs in morning, he had just chewed through his last leash, so I got this one I can keep him close to me when we run on road and let him run far away to explore when we go off road, he’s happy

Where have u been all my life? It's perfect for our 85lb Taz. Occasionally, he gets really excited when other dogs come around (he will pull, tug and chew on leash) NOT with this one, in less than 2 wks he has been healed. Can't tell u how many leashes we have been thru prior to this one. It's easy to hold/handle on our daily walks, very sturdy and locking mechanics So far so good Highly recommend

This leash has lasted me 2 yrs with my 90 pound black lab & still works great. Only problem I had is after lots of use, the part on the clip that your thumb presses down to open the clip broke off after 2 yrs, but still not a big deal. After some practice I can open the clip with my thumb still

I am unfortunately not happy with this leash. They retract very slowly and my dogs get their legs tangled. I would expect a stronger spring for a fairly expensive price. Unfortunately I disposed of packaging and so I can't return them which is what I would do. I cannot recommend then for purchase

All in all a good leash until your dog chews beyond the chew proof cable.

This leash works great. It has a strong break and I like that it came with a chew proof attachment. It is a little heavy but it isn't too bad. I also like the rubberized handle.

I got this for my husky puppy who had a habit of chewing on her lease during walks and chewed threw her first leash within a month. The anti-chew leash extension broke her leash chewing habit instantly. When she does bite it now (maybe once a week), she drops it immediately. The leash and handle are good quality and heavy duty. The handle is heavier than my first retractable leash, but after two months of use, I don't notice it anymore, but if you're looking for something lightweight, this isn't it. The leash doesn't tangle and retracts well, and the lock/rekease button works good. I've had two instances in two months of daily use - once where it wouldn't retract and once when it wouldn't unlock. Other than those two times, it's worked great.

The steel cable is dangerous both for your dog and human owner - the strands started coming off which is sharp. We stopped using the steel cable and yesterday the leash just snapped. I have a 15 lbs dog shitzu, this is very low quality.

I'm very pleased with this retractable leash. We have a 27lb minigoldendoodle puppy that can RUN, and after nearly six months of daily use this leash is still going strong. It's easy to lock and unlock. The 15in wire extension is a great & helpful feature, especially if your dog tries to chew on leashes. If you lock the leash fully extended, then release to bring in slack, the wire/ribbon connection can whip against your dog. He's never reacted to it, but it makes me wince. The handgrip is comfortable to hold, but can be awkward to hold and also open bag, pick up poop & tie bag closed. In winter you can only wear very thin gloves, other gloves won't fit around the handle.
