Great to have for when that pipe breaks off in the fitting and you can't or don't want to remove the fitting. I used this recently when my a/c drain line was broken off by a lawn crew. The pipe broke off almost flush to the wall. After getting the broken end somewhat flat I used this tool to slowly remove the broken off pipe from what looks like an elbow in the stucco. The tool works as it's described, but it definitely takes a bit of operator control to Keri the mandrel in the pipe until you get a good 1/4" cut, after that it guides fairly well, but keeping it straight takes a little muscle. It was able to cut out the old pipe and left the fitting ready for a little hand clean up and ready to be glued and repaired. Overall the little work needed to fix this pipe was much easier than having to chisel out a section of the wall to replace the fitting.

Some ofthe reemers do not fit the fittings. They are too big and make a sloppy fit.

It works, but it made the hole bigger then the pipe so it was not usable. They are tash now.

Having used pipe reamer tools with cutting inserts and these, I easily prefer the professional tools. They cut more cleanly and quickly. However, these are useful and usable, and for those rarely needing to remove pipe from a fitting these are certainly up to the task, and significantly less expensive. They come in a box with no carrying bag or case. The edges aren't sharpened, but depend on the die cut edge of the blade to do the work. A few minutes with a file make these a lot more effective. The disc that goes inside the pipe to guide it as it cuts is fine, but a little sanding prevents it from scratching the pipe internally, which, for drain pipes, isn't a big deal but the better the finish internally, the better everything flows so best avoided. The blades are not replaceable - the entire bit needs to be replaced if needed. The end that goes into the drill is rounded rather than hexagonal, but the force of cutting is low enough that slipping shouldn't be an issue.Overall, they work, and they're worth having on hand if you only occasionally run into a job needing them - and there's a wide variety in this set, so they can be used to fill out a professional set which might only need to cover the three or four main pipe sizes. Just don't expect a lot from them.

We have a plumbing company and have tried them. They do an excellent job and will be buying more. Better and cheaper than from a supply house.

Las puntas no sirven, las medidas para los tubos no son las exactas en algunas y no tiene nada de filo al cortar el tubo en la parte de adentro, no las recomiendo para nada
