Does a pretty good job overall. A good range on the voltage. I did find that there were some jumps/gaps during testing, though. This would be fine for blowers/fans/sliding but not something that needs really precise control.

I use this to regulate a DC motor that powers my flex shaft sander. The motor has much more power and speed than I need, to I can use a 56V power supply into the PWM controller and still have plenty of power. The speed control is smooth, and torque is more than adequate. Recommended.

At the price of $15.99 (at the time of this review), I figured this controller would be a reasonable deal that might need a little work. I am using it to control an intermittent load of 10-12A at 12V, well within the 30A peak load the controller is rated for.The first thing I did was take out all the screws and pull off the case. That usually voids warranties, but I do my own repair work anyway, so it's not a big deal if a component fails. That said, I don't expect to see problems anytime soon with this controller. The circuit is well designed and laid out to minimize risk to components and maximize passive cooling. Good quality components are used throughout and they look like they were assembled by someone who earns enough to care about their work. The soldering is clean and skillfully done. All four transistors are properly bonded to heat sinks and run fairly cool in my application.I did hook up an oscilloscope to the output, which I then tested with several different loads at varying input voltages. I found that this controller performed consistently. The fuse protection adds to my confidence that, even if the controller fails, my devices will be protected. I have a few applications that need solidly reliable controllers that usually run me twice this price, or more. I will be purchasing more of these to handle those jobs in the future.

I love the diy universe, now days theres so much tech out there in this wonderful world and honestly I dont fully understand a lot of it but I know what works works so I had gotten ahold of a 4 wheel bicycle a while back and wanted to upgrade it for fun mostly so I was able to get ahold of a 350 watt 24v motor made to retrofit onto bicycles to make them a ebike but I wanted to use it on the 4 wheel bicycle well after mounting and connecting it all I realized that there wasnt any way to control throttle other than connecting the motor to its power sorce which is 2 24v 6ah drill batteries in parrallell with each other but that means connecting it under load alll the time which isnt good for number of reasons so this bad boy came along and since its capable of handeling 0v to 70v it works awesome with my 24v system and I was able to use a simple cheap on off switch since while the controller motors turned all the way down it isnt pulling any power high enouggh to cause arking or other issues and for this it works awesome i was able to strap it to the frame in a comfy place and simply reach down and turn the dial up or down.

The JOVNO 7-70V PWM DC Motor Speed Regulator has proven to be a decent little controller in my woodworking setup, specifically on my drum sander's infeed drive. While I haven't pushed it to its limits, it performs well within its specified range. The 30A rating provides sufficient power for my application, and the electronic controller with a knob for speed adjustment offers precise control. What sets this controller apart is the thoughtful inclusion of a 30A fuse, ensuring an added layer of protection for both the device and connected motor. For those seeking an efficient and reliable speed regulator with the flexibility to handle various voltages, the JOVNO PWM DC Motor Speed Regulator is a worthy choice. It's a practical solution for applications like mine, where precision adjustments and reliable performance are essential.

This is a very compact DC motor speed controller. I am currently using it on a bench test setup for controlling various DC motors with various voltages with varying speeds. It works as designed. The potentiometer can be detached and installed on a panel or something if you want. The price is reasonable at the time of writing this review.
