Works perfectly. The grip adjustment saves time and works smoothly for adjusting the height.

This particular stand feels professional. Thick well made metal stand. Heavy enough to not feel fragile. Seems like it will last a long time. Bonus feature, the stand easily adjusts to a persons height with a simple lever. Locks in place at desired height instantly.

Easier to use than any mic stand I’ve used in the past. Solid build quality. Height is solid and can record someone around 6’5”. Hasn’t fell over once do to the weight on the bottom. Good value for money.

I got this to use at weddings because it's so fool proof. You literally just squeeze the handled and move it up or down as you wish. Simple!I also like that it has a small footprint with the circular base. Nobody wants a big clunky mic stand in their way, and this one is quite unobtrusive. I recommend this product.

It’s a little shorter than standard. Speakers 6ft or taller will need an extension. The base is attached with a bolt, the pipe is not directly threaded. This gets loose if moved around a lot. Also the tightness of the height adjustment is fine when standing, but if you apply any pressure to the top, or lift by the upper pipe, it will move. The grip is a part of the top piece (the one that moves) and not at the joint of the tubes) which makes it good for one-hand adjusting but counter-intuitive if you’re not expecting it.

This is not the highest quality mic on the market. However, it has some nice options at this price point. The clutch adjustment is nice for quick adjustments. However, the base is junk. It wouldn't hurt Pyle to glue the base cover to the base. Instead it come apart. This is a pain of you are a moble DJ.

I have used countless mic stand models and brands as a lifetime entertainer. The old adage "you get what you pay for" is still mostly true but there are "good value" products that can be useful within reason. The Pyle mic stand is a decent product and I believe a worthwhile tool. I really appreciate mic stands with one hand clutch feature and the Pyle clutch works very well. I only have (2) points of concern that should be fixed / upgraded to put this mic stand in a "Must Have" category. The screw on base is OK-ish but has a tendency to loosen. The bolt is not super robust and my gut feeling is to use caution when tightening. It seems like it could be stripped if too much force is applied. I might try adding a lock washer or some medium "LocTite" to the thread. My other concern is a bit more critical. There is a plastic collar / bushing where the upper shaft enters the bottom shaft that has very poor almost non existant threads. Mine has come loose and actually pulls out sometimes when picking up the mic stand to move it. I should return the stand but I still like it and can probably create a fix on my own.

This is a great mic stand. The height adjustment handle is easy and it stays adjusted at the height you want without slipping like typical mic stands with the twist adjustment. It's solid and sturdy and the base isn't too heavy.

Would have liked to have it longer for my taller friends but they could just sit on a bar stool when we have our karaoke night

Worse mic stand I ever bought. I bought two and they both had same issue. The base constantly comes loose no matter how well it is tightened. So it leans and looks like it's about to fall constantly. I work as a handyman during the day so I know what I am doing when it comes to tools. Nothing I could do to keep the base from loosening.I also sing in 4 bands so I needed a good solid mic stand... These are not it! Over priced and not worth it, at any price. DO NOT BUY THESE. I am super busy and I waited too long to return these. I used one at a time and I did not expect the second one to have the same issue.... HORRIBLE DESIGN. Handle works great, but what use is a mic-stand if it doesn't stand up?
