Love this product, really easy to fit to brass adaptor just pop out rubber washer and it screws easily inside, even tho it may look to small to fit to some taps just pop the black rubber out and it fits nice and tight. Really happy. Water changes are a breeze.

I have a weird tom thumb sink and have tried over 5 adapter for it and it always leaks until this came to my house and it NEVER leaks and fits my sink just fine, it comes with the o ring if you want to run pressure and this is perfect for my sump cleaning days with the python no spill siphon

I bought this fitting to add some leverage to a short-threaded sink that was having sprayability issues. So imagine my frustration when this arrived and was smaller and more narrow than the faucet of my otherwise standard laundry sink. Now I’m out of whatever this cost me, and I still can’t change my water. I am seriously sick of the Python system not working consistently, not having actually useful replacement parts, and spilling/spraying all over the place no matter how I tighten it.Python has a ridiculously strong cult following, but after two years of fighting with this thing and its not-so-useful parts on different faucets, I just don’t personally get the hype.

The description for this adapter should include at least an indication of a range of faucet sizes it fits. Since it doesn't, here you are: with the black bushing in, the opening measures 9/16"; with the bushing removed the opening is 3/4". It should compress/expand to fit slightly smaller/ larger faucets, but not much. I will say it appears to be well made, Python just needs to describe it better.

I’ve had pythons for all my tanks for years and years. Great product. But I’ve moved and no available water supply would accommodate the python hook up and no available adapters, that I could find anyway, would work. So this allows me to continue using my python to manage my tank.Only downside is I need a screwdriver each time. But it’s better than lugging buckets of water.

At first, I hated this. I tried this in the bathroom. and it just flooded everything under the sink and sprayed all over the place. I was going to return this. It's actually pending a return as I type this.Then, I found this... "Python Universal Adapter for Aquarium" here in Amazon. It's a hidden gem. It's a thick rubber fitter that slides on over your faucet if its not too large. Maybe up to an inch. It fits on my curved kitchen faucet. I didn't remove anything from my sink. I just slipped it over after removing the black inner gasket. It was too small with it on. I am leaving this adapter on my sink and just attaching the hose directly to it when needed. The faucet still works and nothing will get damaged or scratched and its not in the way.Now I can fill and drain my 40 gallons breeder tanks and my 20 gallon long tanks with ease!!Python sells both of these items. I just wish they would advertise the adapter so people can love this product like I now do. ♥

You need to remove the First inner Oring to expose the inner thread to attach it to the thread of the Universal adapter. Thought I would show this as others are having trouble. I did replace the clamp on mine as it was too small to fit my tap. Got a much tighter fit now and really clamps down for a more permanent fit.Hope this helps others.Thanks

I bought this because I've been hooking my python up to my bathroom sink and the aerator is an absolute pain to remove and put back on every time but the python out of the box wouldn't hook up to my threadless kitchen sink.I had to fiddle around with this for a bit because at first it didn't fit. Fortunately another reviewed on here mentioned that the black gasket comes out and it should fit your sink after that. One more thing, you will likely need the brass attachment to screw the python into the adapter.

Works really well and is a lifesaver for using my Python syphon for my turtle tank since the original adapter I got didn’t fit.
