Great quality! These helped me hang up a very heavy glass picture frame on my brick wall.

These look like similar name brand screws aside from the phillips head. That does mean they're at risk of stripping, but if the hole you drill is large enough, you should not have issues with that. I have found that they drill in smoothly with very little effort. They are a nice medium size for hanging up lighter duty items. They are more than sturdy enough for everything I've used them for. Hanging some wall planters and lights, so far.The finish seems good and hopefully will resist any sort of corrosion over time. They are also significantly cheaper than name brand screws of this type, so they are a good deal.

We ordered a box of 100 3/16 x 1-1/4 Qualihome concrete screws and were pleased that the kit included the matching drill bit to get started. It's not the best quality, but it does the job and can easily be replaced when needed. These lightweight well engineered but rugged and concrete anchor screws are great for flush mount exterior work on our concrete block construction home. These really hold tight, and they way they're built with a corrosion resistant coating, should last a lifetime or two.The Phillips head is ideal with our impact driver to install them with minimal effort compared to hex heads.A good value, for a pretty good concrete screw.

The screws worked, except with the self tapping claim. They include a drill bit to make pilot holes. I would consider the drill bit just okay. After 20 holes it wasn't working good anymore. I have purchased other masonry drill bits and was able to drill thousands of holes before they stopped working. A tip for drilling concrete, you want to go slow. Going too fast just eats the drill bit up as it begins to heat up. I do feel the self taping claim is a bit of an exaggeration to the capability of these screws and the manufacturer must know that so they include the drill bit. Screws are very light compared to other brands I have used and the claim is that these are heavy duty, which means they should be able to hold a minimum of 200 pounds. There is no weight rating, pull out rating or shear rating provided by the manufacturer so I have my doubts about the holding capacity of these screws. Tapcon provides this information and its essential you use the right anchors for the job. If you use the wrong ones for structural work the screws are going to fail and you are going to have a problem. I will use these screws for light weight work around the house and stick with tapcon for everything else.

These are a very secure fastening method, but the masonry bit needs to fit into the chuck plus drill 1/2" deeper than the screw length. A longer bit is needed. For precise positioning, drill right through a board and into the masonry. For best hold, place screws in solid masonry or concrete - not a mortar joint or well of a block. It is important to choose the correct length, diameter, and head design for the job. For longest masonry bit life, use a hammer drill instead of conventional, and clear dust from the hole regularly as you drill. Don't overheat the bit tip, or the brazing will melt and the carbide will disappear. Chances are that you will need additional bits to drill 100 holes. Save the literature, because the correct bit diameter is critical to screw holding power. It is a special, odd-ball sized bit.

Used these to screw crawl space vent screens into the foundation wall. The drill bit that was provided was very useful for making the pilot holes.

I used these for attaching things to the block wall in the basement and they were great and work perfect. I put in a clothes hanger bar and pretty sure I could do pull ups on it as the screws expanded and were very tight and durable. Highly Recommend these for anything you need to secure into a concrete wall.
