I got this for pier Fishing to help land big blue catfish . And it works great! This thing is huge! Love the small, coated netting That keeps the fins of the fish from getting entangled. Even the rims are coated. Not only Do I get compliments on it but one guy saw it and literally ordered one from Amazon on the spot☺️ The only negative is that I cannot get the thing to fold up. So I don’t even bother. But Even the Rope is strong. Highly recommended. If I should ever lose this one, I am going to buy another one

Folding up is pain...and you will need to procure a bag it will fit in as the one that come with it is way too small when folded to fit

It was difficult to fold away for carrying around! The holder for the bait could be better configured so be aware!

Folds into storage size very easily and comes with everything you would want with the exception of a weight for the bottom ring. I tied on a two oz double ringed torpedo to the bottom as without it, the bottom ring tends to stay level with the top ring and slowly sink down to the proper configuration.

I purchased this fishing net and used it for the first time at a pier. Within seconds of setting it up, the cheap plastic rope snapped, causing the net to fall into the ocean. Not only did this result in littering, but the material quality was also very disappointing. The rope broke immediately and left blue dye all over our clothes and hands.I cannot return the product due to it falling into the water, but I want to warn others about the poor quality and environmental impact of this item. I do not recommend this product.

FIELD TEST: PASSEDWE DROPPED IT OVER THE PIER AND LET IT DRIFT UNDER TO RUB ON EVERYTHING IN THE ATLANTIC OCEAN AND IT FUNCTIONED WITHOUT SNAGGING ANYTHING. YOU CAN HAUL FISH UP WITH IT AND IT HAS POTENTIAL AS A BAIT NET IF YOUR NOT READY TO DROP BIG $$$ ON A CAST NET.IT CAN BE TRICKY TO FOLD BACK UP BUT WE CAN LIVE WITH THAT AT THIS PRICE POINT

I fish from a pier so need a hoop net to haul up sharks, stripers and sturgeon. I ride my bike out there so needed a potable hoop net and this fits the bill. Very well built and would recommend. Takes some practice to get it back in the bag so try it at home a few times before doing with a live audience.
