These Kayak Anchor Tie Down Straps are easy to use and better put my mind at ease when driving with my kayak on my roof. I use these at the bow in conjunction with my regular straps, to prevent the subtle lift that can happen without the bow tied down.

No more reaching down to tow hooks, these tie-downs fit easily in my engine bay and trunk to provide tie-downs for transporting my kayak on top of my car. with the hood and trunk shut, they stay in place for easy loading at home and at the lake. I'm not sure what else to say; they're simple, durable, and functional. They're a definite time saver compared to what I used to do.

These are perfect for what I was looking for. I was looking for an alternative to an expensive permanent rack, just something that I can use intermittently when I take the kayaks out, and these work well for that. They're sturdy, well-made, and I have full trust that they wont break on me.

I don’t understand why I haven’t ordered these sooner. We frequently carry two kayaks on the roof of our vehicles and are always shuffling under our vehicles to get to the tow hooks to attach bow and stern tie downs. Sometimes on wet mud or gravel, finally that is a thing of the past.I appreciate that this set has four anchors, so that we can keep a pair in each vehicle when we do river trips from point A to B and need to carry the kayaks on different vehicles, as it is easy to forget to put straps and anchors in our kayaks to use at our destination.The tubes are 4.5-inches long and have a 1.5-inch diameter. They appear to be made of a thick malleable rubber, which I am not worried about breaking or marring my vehicle’s finish.If there is anything I don’t like about them or wish was different, I would have preferred a mesh storage sack instead of the included 8-foot lash strap. I already have tie-down straps, and it would have been nice to have something to keep all the anchor points in one place.Regardless of my nitpick, these are great anchor points that will make transporting your boats easier and with less worry. At sixteen bucks for two pairs, it’s a good value.

The paint on the front of your vehicle will thank you. Easy enough to place under hood and they seem very sturdy. Unsure why I would ever need 4 of them, but I guess I have backups now!

I wanted some extra hood loops to have on hand for the occasional need when a kayaking buddy is short a tie down, one gets damaged, etc. I was afraid these might be on the cheesy side, but was pleasantly surprised. They seem to be sturdy and the materials are good.I was worried that the hollow handle piece would be kind of flimsy, but it is not. It's pretty hard rubber/plastic. Not sure what it is made out of. But it's comparable material to that of other brands. It does not easily deform and did fine with engine heat when fastened under the hood.These are pretty solid tie downs. I'd definitely buy them again.
