I used it for cooling water and drinks in my hotel room.It worked for about 17 nights out of a 19 night stay, then failed.It seems where the power cord attaches to the unit , something has come loose.When it worked, it did a great job, getting drinks cold from room temperature in about an hour.

I love this setup. I don’t drink out of the cup because I don’t want to wash it every time I use it, so I just set my can or bottle drink inside it and it keeps it cold. If my drink is not cold already before I put it in it it will get cold and stay cold.

I have bought this cup from two different sellers and they don't work. Don't waste your time the cup doesn't get cold.

I was skeptical about this, but after using it, it dies a good job of keeping my drinks cold. Especially in the provided cup. It takes a while, but will freeze the cup or drink to the base. So it gets very cold. I enjoy using this item.

This keeps the liquid cold, maybe colder than when you put it in the cup. The main unit is a little noisy, but so is white noise. The noise is like a white noise. Anyway, this is amazing. Now I know nothing about cost of operation and lasting (life). but really, it does what I bought it for. Cold, wow.....Awesome...

I love, love, loved this drink cooler while it worked. Unfortunately, after using at work it for a month (~5 hours/day), it suddenly stopped working. It was loud (and grew louder over time) because of the internal fan, but now it is silent. The fan motor seems to have burned out, and this then caused the cooling plate to become extremely hot (I could have fried an egg on it). Luckily, I was at my desk when this occurred. I smelled an electrical burning smell and turned off and unplugged the unit immediately. I waited for 5 minutes for the cooling plate to cool down; when it did not, I set it in a sink because it had become a potential fire hazard. I am very disappointed as I have grown used to having a nice cold drink at my desk at my disposal at all times. :(
