My child loves the weight of these pillows and it provides so much comfort. I would recommend the small size for a child. The color options are beautiful. It has helped ease anxiety and provide comfort. The material is soft and feels luxurious. The cost is high but a small sale makes it more worth the purchase.

This pillow was recommended to me by my daughter. I recently lost my beloved pet and have been deeply feeling this loss . My daughter thought I would like the comforting weight on my lap to help me through this transition. She was absolutely right. While it obviously does not replace my beloved pet, hugging it on my lap and feeling its weight is absolutely comforting. I even sleep with it leaned up against me like my sweet puppy used to sleep. While I will consider getting another dog this pillow is helping me get through this time and not rush into adopting another companion. Additionally this pillow is beautifully made and covered in a very soft fabric. I knew about weighted blankets and I tried one out years ago but it was too cumbersome and heavy. This pillow is nine pounds and feels so compact and easy for me to move around. I will in time find my next furry friend but in the meantime this little pillow is helping me. I am very grateful for my daughter’s recommendation and am sure that I will continue to use it even after I find my next puppy.

The reviews convinced me to buy this as it is very expensive but it seems it will last a long long time as you don’t use it as a pillow but as a cushion and for hugging.It has been worth it for me personally as I try everything and anything to improve my sleep. The weight of this pillow is perfectly balanced, and when it’s on top of you or by your side leaning on you, it truly does have a significant effect on your mood and the weighted presence calms you down. I have it lean against me while sleeping or on top of me and have fallen asleep this way, it’s very nice!I’ve used weighted blankets but the problem is their weight constantly shifts due to the beads moving around and I can’t use them in the summer due to being too thick and heavy.The pillow is exceptionally well made, there is no sagging or movement of weight as the beads are somehow all tightly woven inside and it’s feels completely stable, with a soft and fuzzy outside cover. I cover it with a pillow case since it sometimes falls out of my bed.

If you are stuck between two sizes, get the smaller. This thing is heavy and solid. Not squishy at all. The one I got should’ve been the correct one for my size, but it was too big to hold against me. Wish I would’ve returned it and gotten a smaller size. Or maybe even something a little more squishy.

Let me start out by saying the ONLY reason I rated this 4/5 stars was because of the price. Without a doubt, this is a luxury item, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I personally wanted this pillow for months until I got to the point where I knew I wouldn’t regret the purchase. And boy was I right! This pillow seriously helps my anxious thoughts that I usually have a night. It feels like a hug, and it is very high quality. The weight is enough to trick your brain that there’s someone sitting next to you, even if you just have it beside you in bed without holding it. It helps with loneliness as well, and I’m even considering purchasing a smaller size to take with me in the car wherever I go. Yes, it’s made that much of an impact on me. So if you’re on the fence, maybe wait on it and then go ahead and purchase it. You won’t be disappointed.
