Je viens de recevoir la couverture pour le lit de mon fils. Je l'ai étendu sur le lit et l'odeur était tellement désagréable que j'ai décidé de laver la housse. Espérons que l'odeur s'en aille après. Sinon, je vais la retourner et acheter une autre marque.

La couverture semble de bonne qualité. Elle est par contre arrivé avec une odeur semblable à de l’urine de chat. Espérons que le tout parte suite au lavage de la housse…**après quelques lavages de la couverte et de la housse l’odeur persiste…

I bought this blanket for my husband to help him with his restless and sore legs as he walks most of the time at work and he can't sleep properly at night. He said the blanket seems working but still he wakes up to pee from time to time at night. As the night goes by, it is just like an ordinary blanket to him that has weight.

Got this blanket cause it seemed affordable (but not to the point of sacrificing a lot of quality). It felt quite nice to wrap myself around in. The weight distribution was nice. Definitely seemed like 15 pounds to me; however I was surprised how much lighter (relatively) it felt when it was spread out. This must be a sign of good weight distribution. Unfortunately, both the inner blanket and duvet cover came with this horrible odour that I just couldn't stand. I only washed the cover once, so the smell theoretically could have gone away after several more washes, but that feels like really bad product design. Ended up returning it as a result.

I did not know what to expect when I purchased this product. I have difficulty sleeping, I constantly wake up at night (though I don't have trouble falling asleep). So I've been trying different things to try and improve my quality of sleep (non medication) and I heard about weighted blankets, so I decided to give it a shot. While I still wake up at night while using a weighted blanket, it's helping me fall asleep faster and providing me more energy during the day. I feel more wide awake and alert (compared to using a regular blanket). It is kinda comforting to have a weighted blanket at night, although it takes some time to get used to. I still wake up a lot at night (I did not expect this blanket to fix this), but my quality of sleep feels much better when I use it. The one thing to keep an eye out for is trying to find the right weight (can be little tricky imo). The 10% rule is a good place to start and I should have banked on that. I unfortunately tried way too hard and went about 15% above weight (my mindset was that I needed to pack on some pounds since I'm underweight, so why not get a heavier blanket to semi future proof myself. Didn't think this out well enough). With it being too heavy for me, the comfort level varies some nights. Overall, it's a great quality product that does help with falling asleep and improving sleep quality, just be careful when trying to determine the weight of the blanket. I should have gone with the 10% rule, maybe even 8% of my weight (but this is my mistake, not so much a product problem imo). I learned with this product that I do want pressure at night when sleeping, but the one I have is a bit too heavy for me. I still use it here and there, but if I had the right weight, I'd use it everyday without question. It definitely helped improve quality of sleep!

I am absolutely in love with this blanket. I researched many types of blankets and finally landed on this one for a few reasons:- the cost (it’s much more affordable than others I saw)-the soft cover (I loved that the cover is removable for an easier wash, and it’s SO soft!)- because of the cost I was able to get a bigger, heavier blanket and it still be affordable.I sleep so much better with this blanket- the weight helps with restless legs and getting comfortable, anxiety, and better sleep throughout the night too (before this I would wake up several times each night. I still wake up sometimes but it is not nearly as much as before). It also comes in a nice bag that can be kept and carried if you need to travel with it...I kept the bag for when I moved and it fit right back into the bag too! (sometimes you can’t shove them back in to save your life, lol)The only somewhat negative aspect I would mention is that after a while, the blanket kind of moves inside of the cover so the weight distribution isn’t as great as when I got it. I’m sure it’s an easy fix but I just haven’t tried to fix that yet.Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about this blanket. I’m so thankful I invested in it. I would definitely recommend this, and have already!

So the idea is amazing and this blanket is very nice. The removable cover to launder is great (although I have not removed it or washed it yet), the feel is so soft and the weight distribution seems just right. We’ve been using it for a couple weeks. I bought it for myself but found that it’s too hot to sleep under all night. So waking up too hot and having to throw it off defeats the purpose of a good nights sleep. I even took off my regular comforter and used it with just the top sheet-still too hot for me. Husband tried it and loves it! He sleeps on top of our regular covers and uses just the weighted blanket and loves it. I have used it on top of the other covers for daytime naps and I like it for that, just not 7-8 hours straight.

It's heavy. No surprise there - it's a weighted blanket. But what that means is that putting the cover on it isn't quite as easy as putting a duvet cover on a fluffy, light-weight comforter. It's nice that there are ties all around the exterior to keep the blanket from shifting inside the cover, but actually flipping the whole thing right-side out once you get it tied down is no easy feat.That said, the blanket itself, with soft cover, is exceptionally nice. This is the first weighted blanket I've owned so it definitely felt weird the first time I climbed under it. But I got used to the weight quickly and loved the way it just "melts" around your body. I have a small dog who likes to burrow and I was afraid she'd hate it, or it would crush or smother her. But she loves it as well, so bonus!I'm not sure how I'll like it in the summer. It seems that it would be very hot but I'll just have to wait and see. It has definitely helped with my insomnia...plus it just feels good. I'm definitely a fan.The only criticism I have is the difficulty with the cover. They should come up with a design that just snaps all around the exterior so it would be simple to put on and off. But it's definitely a good solid five stars.

I had never used a weighted blanket before purchasing the 15 pound product with the cover from Quality Weighted Blanket. I was unsure what to expect. I have seen a similar blanket in one of the local stores. That blanket was cumbersome and the stuffing had shifted to one corner, which defeated the purpose of the product. I did a lot of research before the purchase. I decided on this one. Also, I am closely familiar with the benefits of weighted blankets with patients who have severe anxiety and problems sleeping. They do work.I am glad I decided to make the purchase. The cover is soft. The filling is evenly distributed and the material is durable. The weight is perfect and I am able to fall asleep pretty fast. I thought it would be too smothering, but it is completely the opposite. One other thing: the blanket stays put on the bed. I never have to pick it up off the floor in the middle of the night. I think this is a good investment. The health benefits are immense and the price is reasonable. I would highly recommend this blanket.
