Editing from my 3 stars: The seller saw my review and reached out to me so they could send me the rake that was left out. I was going to take the loss since I can’t prove I never received it so I appreciate them offering to replace what wasn’t shipped. I obviously haven’t received it yet but the comb is made of sturdy metal so I assume the rake will be made in similar good quality.…The comb is fine but the rake wasn’t packaged with it so I only got half the product

I’ve tried a few different dematters for my poodle and this one is by far the best. If you have a dog with long hair the comb has long enough teeth to get through all the hair which is awesome and the dematter is great for the little tangles that pop up.

I got these along with a Pet Tool kit that didn't have these two tools. I was glad to get these for a bargain value too. The Kit was $40 for 5 or 6 tools. Super value with the handle working for all tool pieces to snap in - a GREAT bargain. I'm very happy that I am set up between these two purchases for all the tools needed for my three Persian cats. The tools all work great, including these two. Find the Kit. You won't be sorry having all the tools you need. It is intuitive how to interchange between the tools for de-shedding and de-matting. Great purchase. Very pleased.

I like both pieces which the dogs only tolerate. Both are useful for carefully removing knots, loose hair and smoothing the coat My objection pertains too the comb. The finger placement is permanent. Consequently the comb is at best awkward to even impossible depending on degree of left handedness. It would help if the thumb placement could be changed. The comb seems to feel good to dogs.
