They work well and look cool. But those with wide toes and big feet will probably find them uncomfortable.I wear a size 13, and I feel like I need a metal worker to adjust the size and shape.

These claim they are one size fits all that is incorrect, they are wide and bulky, they clang like horse shoes when walking and dig into the tops of your feet, to the point they left bruises

Great shipping! Thank you! I did find that they hurt my feet after wearing them for awhile.

Summary:These are a great alternative to safety toe boots, especially if you want to continue using your current soft toe work boots. They are easy to take on/off, and the parts that touch the ground are durable (the stirrup under the toe is a steel with a rubber pad adhered to it. The toe fits my insulated and uninsulated boots, without much excess space to feel like I'm wearing clown shoes.Details:I paired these with a standard D width Danner Quarry work boot (both insulated and uninsulated), and the fit is perfect. Since my boots have a stitch down construction, the toe cap rests against the stitched lip of the sole+upper, and when tensioned by the strap, are held very securely with little to no movement while wearing. I can't speak to how these wear with more casual shoes, but on a stitch down boot, I never feel the tension from the strap, and I don't feel any loss of room in the toe box.

I have very wide, somewhat unique, feet.Finding safety toe footwear where my toe doesn't rub painfully against the inside edge of the cap of the safety toe itself has proven impossible. No amount of searching, or trying on varying sizes (EE/EEE), styles, or brands has yielded a solution that isn't terribly painful for me.-Some cold weather boots perform best, but 2/3 of the year that simply wont work-These caps over my soft toe boots is the first time ive known comfort in steel toes since childhood. I am very pleased with them and intend to rig them permanently to the boots. If you have a similar problem to mine, I strongly recommend this product.

Originally it came with solid steel, toe bars. Which were riveted underneath the steel toe. They were very sturdy, but the problem with them, is they don't give enough room to get boots inside of them. Soooo..... With a little brainstorming I decided to drill and then tap out the rivets holding them in place, once removed I replaced the bars with elastic straps for the toe bars and then used screw on spikes to secure them in place. The elastic straps make it possible to put them on pretty much and size shoe. Now my boots are ready to wander the wasteland. No matter what road I travel I'll be ready. For the wanderer will continue. And humanity will continue. But no matter what, in the end........... War....... War never changes....
