The reputation of this mic's line is already legendary...and well deserved. It comes excellently packaged from the manufacturer. The external shipping packaging was designed to protect it well and minimize shock to the mic, which I really appreciate. When I ordered it, the length of time for receipt was longer than I had hoped for because I was anxious to get it, and I was concerned about that, but it did arrive two days EARLIER that promised, which I was happy to see. If it had been shipped closer to the order date, I would have been ecstatic, but the monitoring software indicated it didn't go out for days...if I hadn't been antsy, this would probably not have bothered me at all...I still received it before it was promised. So I'd be inclined to order from these folks again. The mic is absolutely impressive. Sensitive to all the right sounds without excessive noise floor. Recording quality is phenomenal...unbelievable. It is insanely easy to use with a 32-bit float supporting software through a USBc cable (provided). It also comes with an XLR cable for folks with more professional equipment. Remember to download the ASIO plug in from rode.com. It is attractive, looks like it belongs in the studio, and fits precisely into the Rode boom (a separate purchase) which is solid and strong enough to support it properly and silently in any position I'd need. The mic also comes with a dust cover so I can protect it when not in use, an added touch that those making every attempt to take care of their recording equipment value. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase Rode products from this merchant again!

Love the tone, 32 bit float in USB. Just wish it had a headphone input for direct monitoring in USB. Total beast in XLR though. Great for my voice-over workflow. Just know you will need acoustic treatment in your room if using for voice over work, or a a closet with room enough for both you and your clothes! Performs well above the price tag!

Bu mikrofon ve diğer Rode Nt usb plus mikrofon sayesinde artık Rode hayranı oldum. Sesi oldukça güzel, yumuşak ve bir yandan tok alıyor. Tanıtımında dediği gibi ipeksi bir karakter sunuyor. Usb ile kayıt kalitesi de oldukça güzel. Paket içeriği oldukça zengin. Bu mikrofonu aldığınızda çok daha pahalı bir mikrofon arasındaki ses kalitesini fark etmek için özel çaba harcamak gerekir. Seslendirme ve vokal yapıyorsanız bu mikrofon tam size göre. Dar kardioid yapıda olması çok iyi. gürültü yok. Kesinlikle tavsiye ediyorum. Mükemmel mikrofon

Bought this to upgrade my studio. I podcast and record music (trombone, guitar, voice) from time to time. This is my absolute favorite microphone. I've used mics of all different price points. This mic sounds great and gives a timeless look (music fans should see just how much music has been recorded on the classic Rode NT1).

This is not the first time I bought a Warehouse Deal but the Quality Control should have been better. 'Like New' does not mean a hole in the pop filter! Disappointing experience this time around.However, everything else in the box is undamaged and works without issues. What a great microphone! So, I decided to keep the product and ask Røde if I could get a replacement. Contacted Customer Service in Australia and got a response within a day with contact information for the distributor in my country to have the filter replaced under warranty. In a few days a new pop filter arrived at no cost. Sorted now and fair to say: Røde does not only have excellent products but their customer service is great too! Something that is quite rare these days.

This mic is an absolute game-changer! My recording quality has skyrocketed, and now my voice sounds like I’m ready to drop a chart-topping single. Watch out, 2025—a new star is born (or at least I like to think so)!It’s perfect for gigs, home use, and pairs beautifully with my mixer and in home recording setup. Just make sure you’ve got the right mic stand connector—rookie mistake I learned the hard way.Am I the next Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran? Probably not—but hey, a mic can only work so many miracles. Highly recommend for anyone wanting pro-level sound without the pro-level price tag.

I've been using this with the USB-C connection and it's got really striking quality but default settings leave it inaudibly quiet. Setting the volume to 95 in the Windows sound settings seems to be about the sweet spot but be prepared to play with it a bit. Other than that, it's been very much just plug and play.

It’s a very good quality Mike, which isolates the unwarranted voices. But to use it you should have mac otherwise its like impossible to use in windows laptop.

First off, this mic is super easy to use straight out of the box. I purchased an external interface (Scarlett Solo) just in case the built-in interface didn’t produce as good of a sound. Did comparison records and I could hear a slight difference between connecting directly via usb-c vs using the external interface. It was so close though that I didn’t know which was better, both had great clarity and sound quality. One friend thought the “without interface” sounded clearer and crisper, but two professionals whom I sent my clips to liked the “with interface” sound better and said it was a clearer RAW sound for me. Without the interface, it sounds slightly bass-y, like it's gone through a post-edit and been slightly Eq'd. I recorded in a walk-in closet using a reflector shield and the built in pop filter and you don't hear a “floor”. Suggestion... use the USB-C for when you travel (it'll do well in a pinch to just have the mic and laptop) and keep the interface set up in your home studio - love this versatility. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, there’s nowhere to plug in headphones if using the USB-C, so I do prefer using with the Scarlett interface. But I’m puzzled why this mic is $20 cheaper than the previous 4th generation that doesn’t have the built in interface option. Nevertheless, very happy with this mic and my new home studio set up.
