We have replaced directional controllers on our MX8 many times over the years. Some work better and longer than others. This was a simple swap for a jammed up side A controller. Fit right into place and does not make weird noises like some others. Very smooth. The question is how long will it last? This is a good price if it gives us some life.

Good replacement for the drive motor on side A of my MX8. The motors last quite a while, but after some hours cleaning my pool the interconnecting axels and motor gears drive gear wear. It's a simple replacement that only takes a few minutes. This puts the pool cleaner back into reliable operating condition.
