Valve and float are well made, however the brass rod for the float was not included in the box so I question the quality control as a whole.

Bought this to maintain the water level in our community's swimming pool after some dummy left the fill valve open for two days and wasted $700 worth of water. Works perfectly and nobody should ever have to mess with topping the pool off again. Found it in the Amazon Warehouse for a fraction of the regular price too. Score!

Geat service. Great product. The only problem was that the connecting rod between the valve and the float was not in the box. Not a big problem tho. I used the old one.
