Takes some practice. I would recommend working in 60⁰ plus temps, and/or using a heat gun to warm the pipe somewhat AND the bender.

Tried to cold bend a 3/4 inch 90 degree bend. Kinked the pipe viper first try. Will work as a mandrel that is it.

I bought the 3/4" pipe spring bender, the first thing I noticed was the spring diameter did not even come close to the pipe ID. So when you start bending, all it wants to do is kink, and I do realize that the bends have to be long radius. The spring needs to be larger in diameter, to be closer to the inside wall of the PVC pipe. I was bending schedule 10 PVC, and found that even using the help of a heat gun with the pipe spring did not work. So I through the brand new pipe spring bender, that I just bought, into a metal scrap dumpster. I considered it junk, and went back to my trusted heat gun. My heat gun is less than half of what this spring cost and the gun works
