Well made. Easy to assemble. Seems very durable and enjoyable to use. We like the green in the garden. Had to buy a downspout diverter. And no issue taking it apart to store for the winter. Think this product was a great choice for our yard.

I do like this has a built in overflow that you can add a hose to connect it to another rain barrel.I have this by my seedling bench so I have a water supply for my battery operated drip system. It comes with the standard screened hole on top and zippered top.For me it holds a weeks worth of water to be pumped through teh emitters on teh seedling bench, which is a lifesaver with my work and farm schedule through the summer.Don't be afraid to use it as a stand alone water source in your garden just because you can't catch rain, because these work great for that.

Updated. I had trouble with the first one and returned it. Thought it was a fluke or operator error do ordered another. This one went together quite well. I have filled it with a couple inches of water and all seems fine. Let it rain!

I was a little nervous when I received the box the rain barrels came in. My bad for not realizing it was collapsible.I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to assemble and how durable it is. One rain storm filled the barrell and it has been great to just turn the nozzle to fill a bucket.I am thankful it is collapsible as it will be easy to disassemble and store for the winter.

It has soft sides, it is hard to get the drain pipe to sit on the top to collect the water. And within a short time the water became unusabley green and slimy

Great item. A little tricky to set up but these are less hassle than the typical bulky drum type, especially for Winter storage. I bought two and made some minor modifications to have one overflow into the other. Then I added an overflow hose to a standard storage tub.

Flimsy structural design. Hydraulic design is excellent

Living in the desert southwest, rainwater is a precious commodity and when it rains it's worth it to collect every drop you can. I've used a pair of similar collapsible rain barrels over the last year and decided to add a third for this year so I can store up to 150 gallons at a time as sometimes we can go weeks without rain and the two barrels don't hold enough to carry over for those types of dry spells. What I like about these collapsible type barrels is their easy maintenance and reliability. When they run fully dry, it's easy to wash them out and remove the inevitable dirt/debris that collects from the wind and the gutter collection through the downspout diverters over time. The use of fiberglass rods to provide a rigid top frame ensures they don't go droopy when empty and the support legs are nice and sturdy, allowing for small adjustments for them to rest on uneven surfaces like my sidewalk which has a slight incline to facilitate runoff drainage. The barrel's material is thick and sturdy and withstands the intensity of the sun/weather just fine without fading or cracking and I've had zero issues with leaks. The barrel comes with a plastic mid-level spigot that helps with using a water can or bucket but is limited as it only works if the barrel is at least half full and provides a limited amount of water depending on the overall volume/pressure that goes with that arrangement. The bottom drain is sturdier, made of heavy-duty plastic, and fitted with a quick-release connector that fits with the provided short length of neon-green garden hose as a bridge to a longer hose or to at least direct the drain flow away from the barrel. At the top, it's fitted with a screened overflow vent that has a barbed connecter end on the exterior that you can use to daisy-chain with a second barrel or add a drain hose to direct the flow as you please. The top of the barrel has a mesh screen opening that prevents mosquitoes and other bugs from taking advantage of the standing water and can be used for collection if you don't have a diverter fitted to your gutters, allowing for a heavy flow of water to pass through it without problems provided it doesn't get plugged up with dirt/debris in the process. The only weakness I've found over the several months I've used them is the zipper pulls for the top are cheap metal that will bend/flex if you put prolonged pressure on them through extended use so I've added stronger pull tags to them to prevent them from failing. The zipper tends to snag a bit on some of the sleeves for the fiberglass rods around the top and it can require more than usual force to get the zipper to unsnag/overcome those obstacles when opening/closing the top to dip out water that way. It's a small tradeoff and not really a knock on the design but something to be aware of if you intend to access the barrel's contents frequently via the top instead of using the bottom drain or midline spigot. if you're looking for an affordable way to store rainwater reliably, these will do the job.

Putting together the rain barrel took some patience and some tinkering. After a few adjustments to the level and the downspout, we got it working. Obviously not as easy to setup as hard edge rain barrel, but the benefit is that it can be easily stored in the winter.

Great item, but I'm too stupid to figure out how to attach it to my rain spout! I really want to use it for catching rainwater.

Used for collecting rain from a roof gutter. As described by seller. Fairly easy to assemble. A little flimsy until filled with water.
