Glocks are a pain in the butt to change the springs. This definitely helps alot and is strong and easy to use. I still use a vise to help squeeze the mag to help remove the plate but this helps alot and is cheap

I had a lot of LEO trade in magazines and they were not in the best of shape. Pretty gummed up and all had the floor plate stuck. First the tool is way more robust than I had hoped for. It’s got a good weight to and doesn’t feel disposable in the least. It’s cast aluminum and good sized.Anyway, it peeled those floor plates right back! Some took a little extra grip but in the end they were no match! Now I have pile of clean, fully functional Glock OEM mags at LESS THAN a fraction of the cost.

Got a glock 26 and wanted to replace the bottom plate of the magazine with a longer plate for grib. Tool helps remove old plate without issues. Watch a YouTube video for steps for plate replacement. Solid built tool.

Had a Glock mag come apart for my AR-9. Had to get new pieces for the mag. This tool came in handy and took seconds to take apart the mag and put it back together. Would def buy again for the price. But from the looks of it I won’t need to buy one again. Seems to be made of good material. If anything changes in the long run I’ll update this review. Thanks for taking the the time to read this.

It works as intended. If you're having problems just put some muscle behind it. It was pretty tough to get it off. I was reading other reviews about using a towel and other stuff, but the tool is all I needed. It's a well made aluminum tool. Update: After using it on a few mags I see one con. The only problem I see with this tool is is does mess up the hole a little bit on the baseplate, as you can see in my picture. I have to pry so hard that it messes up the plastic. I wouldn't want to clean my mags too often, or this tool is going to wear it down so much that I'm not able to take off the baseplate. I added the other scratch to the baseplate. It's number 3 so I can keep track of my mags. Keep in mind this is the first time I've done this, so it could be user error. Just thought I'd mention it. It happened on three of my mags.
