This is a good product but it's a little hard to use on yourself, and it took the vender a while to get delivered.

Small and easy to pack....I wrap mine around my ankle to have everyday going out. The benefit to these compared to the CAT TQ is that you can address smaller arms and legs like on children or animals with this....the CAT TQ can't go down that small in size. These are great, a must have!!!

I've used the standard CAT tourniquets for a long time. I still love them. Both have their place in my kits.My favorite part is how small and packable it is (compared to a CAT). I keep it in the ankle pocket of my uniform. This was my primary motivation to try it out. It does no good if I don't have it with me.It is super easy to use. First time I practiced with it, I thought I did it too loose. I was wrong, within seconds I could tell it was working. One handed use? Same as a CAT, running it up my arm was the most difficult part

Great product, great service. Genuine RATS tourniquet. This product has not received the same official certifications as other tourniquets, but does not mean it hasn’t tested in combat by medics and others in combat arms, LEOs, and first responders. This product has been credited for many saves. This tourniquet is quick and easy to deploy. It is also good for use on people with extremities that are too big or too small for CAT-T tourniquets. With that said this tourniquet is able to be used on children. It’s always a good idea to have more than one tourniquet in your IFAK. This is great addition any IFAK. I recommend this product. I will not recommend any product like this, that I don’t trust my life with. This product has my trust. I trust this product to stop any femoral or brachial bleeds. This product has and will continue to save lives.

Really pleased with this. After much debate I switched my edc tourniquet to a RATS from a CAT. I wasn't sure how effective it would be but I can assure anyone who is unsure about it that this tourniquet is as effective as a CAT when used properly.

I’m happy with RATS Tourniquet. I have bought several. Been filling out several kits and giving to loved ones. Once I figured out how to apply correctly, they seem to work better than any other one I have. We train with temporary applications on various limbs and then run drills and manipulations. The Rats is perfect for this. I believe it is the best tourniquet to apply and get back into the fight with. Others like CAT might be better if man is down, and immobilized as part of treatment anyway. Just my thoughts. I try to keep an open mind and a mission ready mindset.

A MUST HAVE for your EDC. Get some training on how and when to use a TQ!Update: I recently ordered two more RATS TQs. As a member of Fire Rescue/EMS, and more importantly Dad, these TQs in my opinion are a must have. Yes there are other tourniquets out on the market, and very good ones, but none are as easily carried day-to-day as is the RATS. Remember, it’s only good if you have it readily accessible and with you when something happens. I thought highly enough of this product, tested it out and trained with it, that I bought two more: one for each of my kids away at school. We trained on how to use it on themselves as well as someone else who may need it. Train, train and train some more. God willing, you’ll never need it.
